Residential Concerns was referred to us by our insurance company. The folks at RC are professional and knowledgeable, and completed the job in a timely manner with great results. I don't feel qualified to provide a rating for the price value since I did not look for other bidders--our deductible was the same no matter who installed the roof. I suggest calling on them because they are reliable and aim to please. One caution: while there are unforeseeable costs in any job, do double check the estimate prior to beginning. The estimator forgot to include the cost of our new roof vent and it ended up costing us a few hundred more dollars. We owed it, but it was just a surprise when it came time to write the check. This was such a small concern, however, that it would not deter me from being a repeat customer.

Used them because they were the only roofer our insurance company recommended (and backed themselves with additional guarantee free) and now I know why. They did a fabulous job. Great company. Replaced entire roof and did a very professional job both in cleaning up every day before leaving and finishing on time. My gutter cleaner worked as a roofer before changing jobs and said the work was in the top 20% of roofs he's seen. Had a concern when my wife found a small 3 inch wide shingle on our deck 6 months later. Likely a cutoff given the size but the owner came out personally and inspected the entire roof and everything looked fine. He is sending a report with pictures as well.

I called Residential Concerns about a possible roof leak I had back in late February of this year (2006). They came out and had a look, and seemed very professional, and honest with me about the situation, and how much it would cost in a couple of different scenarios. Best case was $375, and worste was $750, but we were pretty sure it would be the $375. Anywho, I called a week later because I had never rec'd the estimate, and it was faxed to me on 3-8-06. I got busy travelling with work (I'm in Sales), and so I finally called them back around 4-24-06 to see if they would still honor the estimate, and what I should do to go ahead and have it done. They told me to just sign the estimate, and fax it over, and they should get to it that week or the next. I faxed it to them on 4-24-06, and it did go through, but I never heard anything else out of them. It's now 5 months later, and of course with my schedule I'm just no getting back into finding someone else to take care of this (it wasn't a pressing issue, I just wanted it fixed). I really wanted to just go ahead and get it done because the price seemed fair, and I didn't want to have to call a bunch of people and arrange estimates, etc. Anywho, Job # 20063990 was never followed-up on, and I am now finally looking for someone else. The only thing I can think of is that the job was too small for them to want to deal with or something.

These guys are straight up honest people. I had them do numerous repairs on my roof when I bought my present home. They tell you exactly what your roof needs and give you options from the quick fix to a permanent solution. And they take the time to make sure you understand exactly what they are going to do and what it will cost. Not the cheapest, but they do quality work. Highly recommend!
