Had a hip replacement done by a Resurgens doctor 9 years ago. After experiencing a problem, I called, explained the issue, and was told that the surgeon no longer did hip replacement. I assumed, given the nature of my problem, that I would be scheduled with a doctor who DOES do hips. Not the case. Dr. Olmedo seemed completely puzzled as to why I was there and had no insights at all. "Maybe it's unstable?" When I called back to complain, I was told, "that's the way the scheduling works." Then the doctor's assistant got on the phone and informed me, "he says you need a revision", which is major surgery. Not something you want to hear over the phone from the assistant. I took my business to an Emory hip specialist - no revision needed, just a very minor surgery. Resurgens has lost me as a patient.

My son broke his arm and I couldn't have asked for better care! From the front office to the exam room -- it was a good of an experience as you can have with a broken arm.
