I was suffering with leg weakness, leg pain and lower back pain for 3 years stemming from a automobile accident. I was scared and frustrated by the time I scheduled with Dr. Rhee. He was the first Ortho that really read through my file, examined my tests before speaking with me. By the time he came into the exam room we were already on the same page. I have since had a double laminectomy/discectomy and I am thrilled with the results. I was impressed with the level of care from his staff and the surgical staff at the Emory Spine Hospital. I would highly recommend Dr. Rhee to anyone who wants a logical, well thought out approach to dealing with their spinal injury. In response to the person complaining the nurse did not call in a pain script, FYI narcotics cannot be called in to the pharmacy you must go to the office and pick up the script, it is the law.

We consulted with Dr. Rhee for my husband's severe spinal condition. We found him to be very knowledgeable, complete in his examination, and exceptionally thorough in his discussions with us of the condition and our options for a surgical remedy. He was frank and forthright about the pros and cons and what we could expect. He was personable and kind although somewhat cool and clinical at first. It was obvious he had spent time reviewing our complete medical records before he saw us, which was a welcome change from some other doctors who don't even open your file until they're in the room with you. He was extremely patient in answering our questions and didn't seem eager to rush away as some doctors can be. We both would feel very confident using Dr. Rhee for this surgery.

Part of Emory Othopedic Center. Wasted 5 month in pain. Over an hour late every visit. Had 2 epidurals, they lost me in recovery, told my partner I went home. His nurse is totally incompedant, would not call in a scrip for pain medicine after the doctor said I could have it. Last he told me:" I can do lamnoplasty from the back or remove 4 disc from the front, which would you like to try?" Thats was the clue I was in the wrong place. Emory would even give me another doctor
