They trimmed the limbs back from around my mother's house fine. However they damaged the water meter cover (to the left of the entry to the driveway) when they drover their bucket truck over it. It split the metal cover down the middle. The supervisor tried to get out of responsibility for the damage by claiming it was "hard to see". I certainly was able to see it easily after it was split, and I have to wonder, don't they have to be care with any driveway into which they drive with such a HEAVY truck? Care should be the nature of using such a truck. Also a good business with such a high rating on Trustdale, should want to keep me a satisfied customer, don't you think? There should never have been any argument as to whether they would make the water meter cover new and good again. I would not recommend this company, unless you keep a close eye on them.
I hired this business to trim back limbs from around my mother's house. I found them highly rated on www.Trustdale.com.

Having a significant residential tree removal requirement and being a retired engineer, commercial pilot and independent IT consultant, I had to be absolutely convinced that the selected company could successfully and safely accomplish the task. I did extensive research and contacted eight different tree services for proposals / estimates. There were three trees in the 75' to 100'+ and three in the 50' to 75'+ brackets, all locations involving residential structures and / or power lines and on both sides of a residential street. Based on these considerations and the plans offered, I selected Richmond Tree Experts and the results were even better than expected. One additional aspect of the project was working with one Richmond crew on the removal of two of the smaller trees without crane assistance and with an entirely different Richmond crew on the removal of the remaining four trees with crane assistance. Both crews did exceptional work in protecting sensitive landscape features and concrete driveways, while emphasizing safety and professionalism throughout the three day project. Cleanup was complete and thorough. I unhesitatingly and unconditionally recommend Richmond Tree Experts and will certainly use them for any future tree removal requirements. Bill V

The estimator came out the same day that I called and gave me a competitive estimate. The crew was out the next day and took down 2 dead pines with a crane in less than 2 hours and cleaned up the site. Great service! I would call again.

I had several quotes for my job and Richmond Tree was by far the most honest with their quote. They gave me a price that was comparable to other companies but with no coupons needed for a fair price. The work was done quickly and there was no mess left behind. I would definitely call them again.

I had a dangerously dead oak tree situated in the midst of some ornamental bamboo, inches from a fence post, and inches from a large decorative rock. They removed the tree with the loss of only one single bamboo stalk! Everyone I talked to was super nice and friendly. I had received one other quote earlier from another company that was so much higher that I can only assume they didn't need my business, so I would definitely say RTE services are very reasonably priced. I am looking forward to being able to relax during the next rainstorm!

RTE removed 26 pines, deadlimbed 13 pines, and ground 6 stumps for us in a matter of 2 1/2 days. We were very impressed with their service from beginning to end, including their cooperativeness, honesty, humility, safety, speediness, and cleanup. RTE is a medium priced company, so they will not be your cheapest option, but they provide the best value compared to other medium priced companies. I don't recommend choosing the cheapest option at all, so RTE is your best shot. RTE will be much more cooperative with your concerns than other companies that, for instance, want to reserve their immunity when property is damaged. I recommend them for any tree removal you would like to have done!

I contacted Richmond Tree Experts to remove 3 trees. They gave me an estimate that I thought was fair and they came out the next day. I was curious how much work they would have completed by lunchtime so I went by and was floored to find that the only thing left was ~10 feet of a tree trunk and the stump grinder was coming down the street. When I returned after work, the job was complete and everything had been cleaned up. I have already recommended them to friends and will do so again if I am ever asked.

Two of my large oak trees were in precarious positions. One over the house the other leaning toward the street. They were able to remove both trees with little trouble . Their prices were competitive and I will use them in the future.

Chose Richmond due to great reviews and recommendation by local consumer investigator. Salesperson showed up and provided estimate which I accepted. When crew arrived, said estimate was too low and price would be almost double. After exlaining situation to owner on a Saturday, he said he would call on Monday to set up an appointment and look at the job. He did not call and I had to follow up on Tuesday. He then said he would check with original salesperson, who was now no longer with his company, and call me back that day. Never heard back and have had no response via phone or email after again attempting to contact.

As you can see from all of our reviews, we are a honest and reputable company. We have several contracts throughout Georgia and we always give great service. We have made contact with Mr. Chastain, but he has not given us enough time to respond, we are willing to come and do the job at a loss for the quoted price. The salesperson is no longer with the company, due to this same issue. We regret that this has happened but we will take care of the issue. His distance from our normal work zone has also caused issues and delays.
Ms. M. Thank you, it was a pleasure to work with you, please let us know if we can do anything for you in the future.
Richmond Tree Experts is a professional outfit. My wife had called Richmond while, at the same time, I had called a tree service that we had used in the past. While other companies might "force" you into a contract, Richmond understood our mix up and did not obligate us in any way. Such accommodating behavior is rare these days. In the future, we will certainly use Richmond Tree Experts.
