Rick Hawkins Cabinets

I have had alot of custom cabinet work done in the last 20 years and am no newcomer to this service. I had some cabinetry refacing done with Rick Hawkins Cabinet and was very pleased with the result. He discussed the level of work I desired for this project and we quickly agreed on the services he was to provide. Although I admit being somewhat of a difficult client, he handled everything with ease and did a great job in the customer service arena. He did an equally nice job on the cherry cabinetry. He was patient, listened, advised, and gave a fair price for my project. I liked him alot and love the cabinetry. I would recommend him to all that have cabinetry needs from simple to complex. I must also say that after talking to him quite a bit about wood, he absolutely loves woodworking and what he does. He lights up just talking about wood. For him, he really loves this stuff and if you have someone do a job for you and they love doing the job, you have to see it in your result. I'm a happy camper with some great new cabinets!

After a lengthy search for a "cabinet guy" including the hardware stores, I was almost ready to give up and just bite the bullet for a "whatever" solution. My uncle had even offered to build a cabinet for my small bathroom, however I knew there had to be something better. I came across Rick Hawkins here on Kudzu. I was surprised when Rick answered the phone and offered to come out to the house and measure. He then made suggestions to improve the design! After some decision making he was friendly and communicative via email on the fine points. I went out to his office to make a deposit and less than a month later I'm looking at some of the highest quality cabinets I've ever seen! At a price that cant be beat as well, Mr. Hawkins has a repeat customer in me that's for sure!

Ask him about his VW hobby too.. an all around great guy, company and product! The highest recommendation I can give is deserved here.

Rick Hawkins was professional, efficient, and thorough. I am extremely pleased with the kitchen cabinet "facelift" and the excellent service provided by Rick and his team of trained craftsmen.

We could not be more pleased with Rick Hawkins. He helped us design the cabinet we wanted and built it exactly as planned. He was dependable, courteous, and professional. He did exactly what he said he would do. We recommend him very highly.
