I consulted with the technician that came out to the house. He was very courteous and ON TIME!!!!! Brad knew what he was talking about and very knowledgeable. When it came time to do the work, it... went just as smooth. They took time to do what was needed and explained everything that was done. They had no problems cleaning up. I am very satisfied with the work and the amount of time needed to get the job done!!!!! NO MORE BATSVIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Had a problem with a bird getting into the house through the fireplace. Called Rid-A-Critter and they came out the next day to inspect the chimney. A custom chimney cap was made and installed a few... days later. Great service and fair price.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I had a lifetime Warranty with Critter Partrol - who is no longer in business. My husband started to hear some activity in our crawl space and we immediately contacted Rid A Critter. I wish I had contacted them before the other company since it turns out the work previously done all had to be fixed. My Consultant from Rid A Critter spent a full day fixing my gutters, sealing all the roof vents, and re-checking all the work previously done and correcting it. The team was professional and did a great job. I am extremely pleased with the work and my hope is this situation is finally fixed. I would highly recommend this company and it's services.

I never thought I would want a picture of my pest control hero along with my boys' pictures, but I do!!! Jason Arruda can do and solve any rodent issue. I have had rats, bats and snakes along the years. Once I make a call to Jason, all is good and there are simply no issues. I can't say enough good things about Jason!!! They are an amazing company!

We've had a rodent issue in one of our homes. It's been rough to figure out an entry point due to being on a slab and the way the house is constructed. Rid A Critter has stood behind their word even when the warranty expired. They are worth the time and money!

Rid-A-Critter was able to meet and exceed my expectations in August 2013 when I needed help ridding my home of field mice. The technician that came to my home for the initial inspection was very professional and knowledgable. He took the time to show me what work needed to be done so I felt confident only necessary work would be performed. On the day of service, two technicians were on time, respectful, and completed the job within a couple of hours. I will and have recommended this company to others.

I rarely write reviews, but I am so impressed with this company, I had to make sure to spread the word. I've had a long-standing issue with carpenter ants in one of the rooms of my house. Before I bought the house, the room had been converted from a side porch to an unheated room of the house, and I have since converted it to a heated, usable room. A while back I'd noticed sawdust along the baseboards, and every once in a while, I'd find a carpenter ant. I called my termite company who came out and assured me me it wasn't termite activity. They did charge me to spray the room with pesticide. A few months later, more sawdust. I hired another pest company: more spray. A few months later, more sawdust. I had the experience of spray and then sawdust three times before I finally found Rid-a-Critter. Cherie (I hope I am spelling her name right), was professional and thorough, and of all of the company representatives who came out, she was anti-spray. She wanted to use bait (the most effective way to eliminate an ant problem), but she wanted to find the activity before she administered the poison--to get the job done right. She was the only person who had been called out for this situation to inspect outside, and the only one to actually discover where and how the ants were getting into the walls. I was so impressed with her and with Rid-a-Critter, I signed up for yearly treatment. Thanks so much, Rid-a-Critter!

Shortly after we retired here in Georgia from up north, we found out that we had rats in the attic of our new-old house. So my dopey husband went out and bought rat poison and put in the attic. About a week or two later, the whole house stunk of dead rats. I can't even describe how bad it was. So I googled "dead animal removal," and Rid-A-Critter's site came up. I called them right away. The girl in the office must have sensed how frantic I was because she sent Jason right over with some young dude that I think he was training. Between the two of them, they found all the dead rats and carried them out, cleaned up all the rat filth, and disinfected the attic. Better yet, they dragged my dopey husband up into the attic to show him all the holes where the rats got in, and quoted us a price to rat-proof the house. I could tell that my husband was thinking about doing it himself, but I shot him a killer look, and he changed his mind real quick. Jason and his protege put out some traps, just in case any of the rats had escaped my husband's chemical warfare attack, and the next day they came back with a couple more strong-looking young dudes and sealed up the house. Now the rats are gone -- for good. As for my husband, he's promised not to play exterminator any more, so I'll keep him around for a while. :)

I had bats in my attic. I must have had bats in my belfry, too, because the first guy I called to remove them was a handyman sort of guy. You know, a jack of all trades type. That was a complete waste of money. The guy sure enough worked hard, but he couldn't get rid of the bats. They kept finding their way back in. So after a couple of weeks of that, I finally called Rid-A-Critter. Their price seemed very high at first until I realized that these guys actually knew what they were doing. They sent a whole crew of guys with ladders and lift trucks, installed some sort of one-way bat doors, sealed up all the holes and cracks, and even found and fixed a bit of water damage while they were poking around. Plus, they vacuumed up all the bat poop and carted it away, and sprayed some stuff up there to freshen things up a bit. You know, get rid of that batty smell. So all in all, these guys aren't cheap, but they did get the job done, which the cheap handyman guy didn't. Plus I have a guarantee now. If the bats come back, Rid-A-Critter comes back. So yeah, I'm happy. Like I said, this company isn't cheap, but they do top-notch work.

Ever since we moved to Atlanta, we've had rats in the attic. Other exterminators stuffed steel wool in the holes and threw bait around the attic every month, but we still had rats. So we called Ridacritter, and my oh my, they sent an army of rat catchers in a motorized division, cherry pickers and all. They sealed up our attic so tight that a fly couldn't make its way in, much less a rat. Thanks, Ridacritter. The rats are finally gone!

I called Rid-A-Critter because of a honeybee hive in my ceiling. Jason showed up with two other young fellas and a high-tech camera that let them see right through the sheetrock into the ceiling, so they could tell exactly where the bees were. Once they knew where the bees were, they were able to get rid of the whole hive without tearing up my whole dining room. Thanks!

Did they get rid of the squirrels? Yes. 6 weeks ago my husband and I contracted Rid-A-Critter to do squirrel removal for our attic. They came out quickly for the consultation and started the work the following week. They patched the holes, put traps in the attic, and added a tunnel for any remaining squirrels to exit the attic. The promised to come back "in a week or so" to remove the tunnel, paint the patches to match the exterior of the house, and most importantly clean and sanitize the attic insulation. NONE of those things have been completed. It has been SIX weeks and now they won't return a phone call. Updated 4/1/13 Following my original Kudzu post Rid-A-Critter asked me to call their office (we had been calling our sales person and tech directly for 6 weeks) and they did follow up and complete the work within days. Apparently my case was an anomaly, however, my experience left something to be desired. As you can see from the owner's post as well as a post I received on Facebook from their office manager, they are quick to blame the customer. I'm sure the office does return all calls, but the tech gave us his card when he started the work and said we should contact him directly.

I am positive the office returns all voice mail messages. Please call me on my cell phone number and I will get to the bottom of the issues. If you don't call me I cant get involved and get it fixed. You have taken the time to write a negative review, I am now begging you to please take the time to call me. I would like to make this right. I am the owner of this business and take these reviews seriously. Richard Adcock cell 770-356-5563. If you don't get me leave a message. I will return the call. Thanks
It's been 11 months since Rid-A-Critter first came to my home and we still have rats. The technician wasn't thorough the first few time so I am still dealing with the hassle of scheduling visits for trapping and pick-up. His work has been sloppy and if I don't follow up with him to schedule the next visit, I wouldn't hear from him.

Update -- As of today (2-28-13) I still have not heard from this person regarding their on going rodent problems. We can not correct problems until they call and provide their contact information. Hi, I'm sorry your still experiencing problems with rodents. We have supervisors that can solve just about any rodent problem. Please call the office 770-258-8568 and ask for me (Richard). I will be happy to get a supervisor on this and we will either correct the problem or refund you your money (our company policy). I can not be proactive and get a supervisor on this issue without more information (not supplied in your posted review). Richard
