Rep cussed me out because of a mistake THEY made with my warranty and proceeded to hang up on me.
Jeff assures me he did not use 1 curse word while speaking with you nor was he anything but professional. Jeff did hang up when you proceeded to scream and holler at him on the phone. None of our employees have to take verbal abuse of any kind from any customer, right or wrong. Jeff offered you a chance to catch up your account by paying past due warranty renewals or to pay for the work that you need to have done now (which was almost the same exact price).Richard Adcock
A year or 2 ago they did a great job removing a few squirrels from my attic. This year the squirrels came back but they had no interest in coming out to remove them again since I did not choose to "step up and permanently fix the problem" (his words, not mine) by paying $4500 for a full exclusion plan they proposed last time. Are you kidding me?!? Why not just charge a fair price for the removal and do it as many times as I want them to? Not the way to run a business.
I am sorry that you do not like the changes we have made but we have made them due to the changing economic environment and because we want to resolve animal issues fully the first time. Many people do not wish to have a service company inside their homes numerous times each year to remove animals. They do not want to deal with the damage that is being done nor the inconvenience of meeting with service technicians often. With the cost of business rising (gas, insurance, advertising etc) we have found that it does not make sense for us to offer a "trapping only service". We want to have the best technicians, training and equipment in this industry to service our customers and that cost money. The money that comes from "trapping only" simply does not offer enough revenue to do this.
We had fire ants that came into the kitchen!! It was awful. I called Rid-A-Critter and Cherie came out that day and treated all around the house, having to return the next day because new mounds had popped up and needed more attention. We had a serious infestation around the house, that eventually showed up INSIDE the house. Thankfully she worked diligently to get rid of these pests and we can now spend time outside without worrying about getting attacked.
The good folks at Rid-A-Critter really went above and beyond last year to eradicate a terrible flea problem at my house. Once I called them, they were there the next day to give my house an incredibly thorough treatment, and then were highly proactive in coming back again and again until we got it squared. I would recommend them to anybody. They have my business on a permanent basis.
we called rid a critter bcuz we had a serious ant problem. when I called I got the best quote and she knew exactly what she was talking about!!! when she came out she explained everything to me from what causes them to how she was going to bate them!! In need of bat removal? Look no further!! I have gone before you and done the work. I am here to tell you that Jason Arruda and Justin Brown of Rid-A-Critter in the Atlanta, Ga area are THE BEST! I recently received a call from our tentants that no out-of-state home owner wants to get. I was told that there were bats in the attic. I had no idea where to even begin to tackle this problem. Thus the research began, countless hours of searching the internet, calling, getting and scheduling quotes. I stumbled upon Rid-A-Critter.. my search ended and the burden was lifted. Jason and Justin did outstanding professional job! They removed the bats, sealed up all possible re-entry areas, then proceeded to clean up. The clean up involved removing all of the contaminated insulation and then installing new insulation through out the entire attic. I received several updates along the way that relieved me of any worry I had being two states away and unable to over see the repairs. Words cannot express how grateful I really am for all their hard work and determination to get the job done right! Our tenants were amazed. They called me several times and sent me lots of pictures over the course of the work to let me just how impressed they were with Jason and Justin's work! we are landlords and got a quote. promised they would only communicate with us. gave tenants different information than us. told them we had wires chewed and showed them around with flashlights and showed animals. Told us a completely different story. When I asked they told me we had no home damage and that while there was evidence of animals in attic and basement that he didn't see anything up there currently. Now we are stuck trying to sort out what is what and real. and our tenants are not sure who to believe because the stories are different. Do not use them!
I have spoken with Jason Arruda (our technician that did the inspection) and Jason assures me he did not speak with the tenant about what he found nor did he discuss electrical wiring with the tenant. Jason has been with Ridacritter for over 5 years now and has been nothing but a great employee and has no history of this behavior. As the landlord stated, they were not present during the inspection. Tenants have been known to alter the truth to try and get out of a lease. We would not tell the tenant one thing and tell the landlord something entirely different.
I just discovered a bed bug infestation in my master bedroom. Completely disgusted I contacted several different places for a quote and advice. Not only did Rid-A-Critter offer the best quote, but Cherie spent an hour on the phone with me discussing my concerns. She just left my house after spending hours treating my bedroom and both of my children's bedrooms with amazing detail. She was extrememly professtional and remained patient through my hundreds of questions that I fired at her all day. She is profoundly knowledgeable about bed bugs and treatment of bed bugs. I will update later with the effectiveness of the treatment however I can tell from her time here today that she will keep coming back until the job is done. I am looking forward to a full night's sleep tonight!!
Roy and Fred did an excellent job sealing my 100+ year old attic. They were very courteous and careful and treated the home as if it was their own (in the past I have had workers drop hammers and all types of tools on the floor). Although I received a slightly cheaper quote from another pest control company, I was sold by Rid-A-Critter's expertise and knowledge of what type of work needed to be done. Also, if you are concerned about a clean looking job that does not look sloppy, these are the guys.
Whatever your critter issue is, you can count on these guys. I bought an older home with several critter challenges (and some I am sure yet to unfold). Whatever the issue, David (our tech) has been amazing! He goes anywhere and everywhere to eradicate the demons. Most recently, there was an awful (REALLY AWFUL) odor in the garage. I thought I could live with until Monday, but a few hours into that hot Friday afternoon and the odor was truly unbearable. David ruined his Friday afternoon (by heading out to my place), quickly found the dead carcass, and gave me an odor-free weekend. This wasn't a one-time deal with David ... he's been responsive like that from day one. These guys just don't give up and that, to me, is priceless!

I have an office building in East Atlanta. Our building is 25 years old, and poorly built. I met David our technician about a year ago after I was surprised by two squirrels running past me as I opened up my front door on Monday morning!!! I called, and the problem was solved immediately. I have called at least 5 times for different issues. Rid A Critter has always been prompt, courteous and honest. I also have a service contract for the pest control in my building. I appreciate all the hard work this company has done for me, and I would recommended them to anyone!
