I Really don't know what the review before mine was talking about. I payed close to or even less to what that person payed for and my flowers were absolutely beautiful. The Alter arrangements were large and amazing exactly what the owner and i discussed. there were also hundreds upon hundreds of boutonnière's and arrangements to chose from. Once again i got exactly what i wanted. this shop was everything i could ask for. The service was amazing and i will defiantly, recommend ridgewood gardens to anyone for any occasion.

Date: 10/2008. We purchased our wedding flowers from Ridgewood Gardens located in Niles and were very disappointed. For what we paid, $1,600, we thought we would be getting the really nice wedding flowers that we discussed when we signed the contract. First of all, the flowers for fathers were supposed to be a regular sized rose with one small spray rose, instead they gave us two tiny spray roses (the same boutonniere that the ring bearer got!). It just looked ridiculous on them and it also looked like we didn't care about fathers, since they got the extra small flowers. The church flowers looked like funeral arrangements (someone in my family passed away recently and I saw a very similar arrangement at the wake). The centerpieces for our reception looked cheap, I think my 4 year old son could have done a better job arranging the bouquets and they weren't in the vases that we agreed on. There was absolutely no creativity utilized arranging any of the flowers. My bouquet was very small compared to other bride's bouquets I've seen and my toss bouquet was a tiny bunch of daisies. When I threw the toss bouquet, the girls didn't know where it fell cause it was so small. I think grocery stores sell more elegant bouquets than this place.
