Rio Salado College

I was attending their online degree program for computer technology. I had no problems with any of my instructors. In fact, they were all great! My only issue was that the program really wasn't geared toward what I needed. I wasn't looking to be Microsoft certified, I wanted to work toward my A+ certification. Microsoft was shoved down my throat.

Overall I would say if you plan to be an online student with ANY school you need to ensure you are prepared to actually come home from work and be able to devote yourself to doing your lessons.

Bio 160 Anatomy & PhysiologyTaking it online? DONTI have a B.A as well as a masters but I wanted to go into another field but needed to take this course. The professor, Jane Hansen did not provide a study guide for the mid term or the final (DO you know the info for this class(OVERWHELMING) The book used was the eight edition but I had a book from the 6th edition (from a friend) and found pictures on the mid-term as well as the final exam using these pictures as well as questions but they were not available in the 8thHMMM makes you wonder since I missed being acdcepted into the Physical Therapy program by 1.8%. Their is noway a single parent can take care of their child (feed, bathe and nuture) and find time to get an A or B in the class. I will never take an online or inhouse class from this professor again. When you think Anatomy and Physiology you think of bones, muscles.NOPE not 1.may I say it again not 1 question on the mid-term or finals on this and we were told to study this extensively. I did not want a grade given to me by any means, but don't leave me out there for failure either. A study guide would be nice so STOP being lazy and provide your students with one, this class is already one of the hardest out there....

I'm amazed with Rio Salado because you can even do nursing classes on line. I was a student at Rio Salado for one or two classes. Their on-line curriculum makes me want to go back to college and get more degrees because I can do it in the convenience of my own home.:)

I have been studying online and find that the organization of thier website very user friendly and thier staff very knowledgable. I love the online learning convenience!

It was so easy to sign up for my classes. I walked in to talk to a counslor and walked out about 1 hour later enrolled in school. The on-line classes are great with my ever changing work schedule.
