control freak, 11/16/2007

I love horses and have a passion for riding and showing, I came to this facility for advanced training and a promise of professionalsim. What I got was a control freak trainer who believes she is... doing you a favor by training you and shows zero respect for you or your feelings or values. Talk is cheap but the board and lessons are not! I learned the hard way after 1 year, even the beginning rider who is paying for a service deserves respect and kindness. The trainer at this facility is all about control, you do not question her, she is always correct and MONEY is always the bottom line. I put up with emotional blackmail and emotional abuse because I wanted to be a part of something I loved, then I realized there are trainers out there who also love and respect the sport and people. No one who is paying for a servise, such as training should ever allow a trainer to make them feel as if she is doing them a favor, please remember, YOU are the paying customer, if not for you..the trainer would not have a job.
