Dr. Levine's staff is excellent. I have always had great service from them and have no complaints in this department at all! The dental work I have received has been good quality in terms of the strength of the crowns, etc. However, I think they have left something to be desired in what SHOULD have been done. I feel like sometimes the treatment given is what will make them the most money, not necessarily what is best for me. I've had a crown when I should have had a root canal, which I had to have a year later. This meant a year of pain for me and two procedures instead of one for them. I did get a discount on the copay, but my insurance plan was still eaten up. They have forgotten to prescribe antibiotics after a root canal, leading to a very painful infection. All in all I am not terribly dissatisfied, I just think they could be a little more on their game, and put the customer's wallet before theirs.

I go to a dentist regularly and have good dental insurance. I was shocked when Dr.Levine handed me a $7,000 treatment plan after my initial exam. This plan included 5 root canals which Dr Levine wanted to do himself even though he is not an endodontist. I went immediately to my endodontist whom I'd be seeing over the past ten years and handed him my "treatment plan" He said one root canal was advisable; the other 4 were unnecessary. Additionally, Dr Levine did not employ a hygenist, but did a very hurried and superficial cleaning himself which was billed to my insurance company.
