What We Do
Dr. Windsor has been engaged in pain management since the late 1980?s. He founded his first practice exclusively dedicated to pain management in 1990 and founded Georgia Pain Physicians, PC in 1997. He founded Kentucky Pain Physicians, PSC in 2005 and acquired Kentucky Pain Care and Ohio Pain Solutions in 2011. He has also founded National Pain Care, Inc., which is a management company dedicated to the acquisition, management, and quality improvement of pain management companies.

He moved to Atlanta, GA in 1989 and began his distinguished career in pain medicine. Over the next decade he became board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ACGME specialty board), the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American Board of Pain Medicine, and the American Board of Pain Management (ACGME subspecialty board). He has also become a sought after speaker having given over 200 national presentations, published over 50 book chapters and 30 articles in peer reviewed journals, and co-authored a textbook on spinal anatomy. He has trained over 100 physicians in the art and science of interventional pain procedures through the interventional pain management fellowship that he founded in 1991. Dr. Windsor is considered a national ?thought leader? in pain management.

Dr. Windsor has always strived for and achieved excellence in all endeavors. He entered Texas A&M for his undergraduate studies on an athletic scholarship in Pre-Med at 17 years old. Over the next four years he would rank as high as third in the NCAA throwing the shot put. He completed his undergraduate requirements in two years and entered Texas A&M College of Medicine at age 19. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Medicine at age 23 and completed residency training at University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at age 27. After his track career was completed he began competitively power lifting. Among other noteworthy accomplishments in that sport, he set a national record and unofficial world record for his weight class in 1988 in the bench press at 578 pounds. In 1992 he began a decade long career in martial arts during which he competed at a national level and obtained a black belt.

Currently Dr. Windsor resides north of Atlanta, GA with his wife and children. He continues his athletic pursuits by weight training on a daily basis and competing in Challenge Races. In addition, he enjoys boating, jet skiing, snow skiing, SCUBA diving, and sky diving.
