Rodriguez Painting

I made the mistake of hiring this company due to price. Lesson learned - you get what you pay for.

1. First crew didn't have proper "tip" for pressure washing nor did they have bleach to add to kill the mold.
2. Second crew used bleach. EVERYWHERE. Killed plants and grass all over my property.
3. Called me from the paint store trying to buy the cheapest paint that Sherwin Williams sells. Didn't know what type of paint to use on my metal gables either. Aren't they the experts?
4. Did not have proper quantities of paint, no way it would have covered my house. Can you say thin coats?

Kicked them out before they did any real damage (before painting).

Buyer beware.

I hired Rodriguez Painting to paint my ext and int home and at first I did not know what to expect but when i called the office they where so professional and the estimator was ontime on October I hired them and they did such a wonderful job my wife is very pleased and I will definetely will recomend them to all of you my house looks wonderful I didnt think that the job was going to be this good and I had really bad experiences with other contractors. Very satisffied.

I called America Painting and actually Carlos from Rodriguez Painting came and do the estimate. later I hired this company to do exterior painting for my house and now it's a nightmare for me. The painters painted halfway of my garage door and left that day, they did not clean their job on door, the door wrapper paint stick to the garage door and no one remind us about it. When I open the garage door, my door was broken, the connection part to the door to operation rod tear off. The painters came here next day and I reported this issue to them and they watched the damages, they told me they will not work to finish my house and left. Now my house painting is unfinished and I called the company about this issue, so far I got no reply from the company. I need to get my garage door replacement now and this company should take the charge for it.

Also, their preparing work for woods sealing are not good as they promises. My final comments -- do not use this company for your house painting.

I got three estimates to paint my house. I have painted 2 of my previous houses, but this house is 3 stories on 2 sides and my wife loves me too much now. Rodriguez was about 60% of the price of the other 2 estimates. The others quoted brushing whole house with a 2 yr warranty, whereas Rodriguez sprays the siding and some of the trim with 5 yrs. I have used a sprayer myself and know that if done properly you get better coverage. Some say that spraying may not be as "good" for the environment but mother nature is not paying for this paint job so I went with Rodriguez and they arrived on time and finished within the week that they estimated. They were very through with their prep work and replaced all of the workwork that was on the estimate and did some at no extra charge. They used 2 coats on the siding and the trim because they said it needed it. I work from my house, and they were quite as church mice and only knocked on the door a couple of times the whole week (I bothered them more than they did me, and they did not need to use the bathroom one time the whole week????). The bill was exactly the same as the estimate. I have gone back and inspected their work and other than some very small details that they agreed to come back and get, the work is superb. Also, they cleaned up everything. My wife and I very pleased with their work and the overall experience. We highly recommend Rodriguez. Don't cheat yourself because you are afraid of their lower price....

After acquiring a couple of bids we decided to use Rodriguez Painting because of their lower price. They did both our interior and exterior, my husband and I were very pleased. They completed both jobs in about seven days, also they repaired my sons play set without even asking us. Their labors were very respectful and kind. I will not mind using them the next time we have to paint our house.
