In 2002 I had a repair to a partial Fx at L5-S1 with placement of screws. This was done in Laf. LA by a supposed excellent Surgeon. Since the surgery I have been in sever pain, with Doctors in SC, LA and Georgia saying that the screws were loose, but not a problem. May 23rd 2008 Dr. Rodts ordered a myleogram and suggested surgery. The screws at l-5 S-1 were so loose Dr. Rodts removed them without tools. My Lumbar spine was rubbing bone on bone and irritating exposed nerves. Because of Dr. Rodts I will be spared permanent damage that I would have incured if I would have followed the advice of the other so called specialist. Thank- God for Dr. Rodts. and his miracle hands. rkclemson

My husband's arms were getting parlyzed and his primary doctor sent him to at least 3 specialists who did not know what they were doing (well I don't know exactly what's wrong but we can cut him open and fix it) before we ended up with Dr. Rodts in 2001. Dr Rodt's showed us on the X-rays exactly what was wrong and was very specific about what he though should be done for it. He told us up front it may not make things better but only keep them from getting worse. He gave us pros and cons, and other options. All spelled out. He told us worse case and best case outcome right up front. His office staff was competent and informed. This doctor didn't "disappear" after surgery. He seems to be a pretty darn good surgeon too - dear husband ended up a little better than "best case".
