DO NOT GO HERE! All these other posts talk about how nice of a guy Bill is at Roger Jordan Garage. He may be nice, but that does not make him a good mechanic. I got quoted for $40 for a stripped lug nut. The end price ended up being $344. He said he learned something. I am glad he learned something, but I would rather him not learn things at my expense. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE. Nice fellow, BAD MECHANIC. Go somewhere else and dont get ripped off.

I was very surprised by their performance and cost after they talked so much about not doing anything unnecessary. Further, since the work I needed done was for emissions time constraints and not for lack of being able to do basics, the fact that they had billed .16 hours and $14 to 'inspect wiper blades' was atrocious. Extremely overpriced and evidently the front office guy doesn't know what the garage guys are pulling. Not to mention when I dropped it off early Wednesday they could have told me that they had no chance to get to it til Friday. Too bad since they are so close to home and work. And I still have a bit of a knocking to figure out...

These are nice guys, but they charge too much. I called for quotes on replacing an O2 sensor for my '98 Civic, and they definitely have integrity. The guy was going on about how he wanted to make sure it was the O2 sensor before I paid for that, since oftentimes the engine code could be masquerading as an O2 problem but be something else. They ended up charging quite a bit more than I expected, but I had already left my car there, so what could I do? It also took over a day, which I didn't expect. I also had them quote me on a timing belt/water pump change, and they quoted $750! Way too high. I got it done at Pete's Import Garage down the road (1996 Dekalb Ave) for only $569, including parts, labor, seals, taxes, AND an oil change. Plus, he stayed an hour late to make sure my car was done the same day! I should have gone to Pete's first, and I will be going back to them from now on.

I've been a loyal customer of Roger Jordan garage since the late 1980's; yes, going on 20 years! There is only one reason why I would patronize a business for this length of time and that is because I have received CONSISTENT, high quality service. Bill Jordan fixed my previous car and was the ONLY one to get it back on track and running correctly. I trust this company implicitly and know that when I bring my car in I have the peace of mind that I will get honest, first rate service. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and I like that this is a family business (I was a customer back when Bill and Don's father was in charge.) Also, the fact that the shop is two blocks from a Marta rail station makes it easy to drop my vehicle off for service.

A co-worked suggested trying Roger Jordan Garage when another car repair place ripped me off (replacing items that didn't need to be repaired). I have used Roger Jordan Garage for 15 years. They are always friendly and are priced fairly. They tell me when I can wait on repairs (& how long), so those fit in my budget. Roger Jordan Garage is also located 1 block from MARTA (near Little 5 Pts.), so it's easy to drop my car off before work and pick it up afterward.

I paid dearly for very shoddy work on my car at this garage. Car was taken in for an alternator replacement and oil change. Took them 2 1/2 days to even look at the car. I went to pick it up on Day 3, and they said "15 min. more." I sat for 3 hours, then they informed me they couldn't get the car started. Came back the next day, paid $ 450 for repairs I later calculated should have cost no more than $ 300 at my regular garage(he was out of town). The car ran HORRIBLY, rough idle, entire car shook, prone to stall, etc. None of these problems existed before I took it in, as I had a major tuneup just 4 months before. Took the car back to Roger Jordan garage, they could do nothing - said the car's valves were shot, this is the best they could do with it, etc. Took it to my regular mechanic next day - after he connected THREE hoses that were loose, securely connected the fuel line, and readjusted the carburator, the car ran like a dream. Basically, they rushed the repair and didn't hook everything back up as it was. Can't recommend them at all - the staff is polite, but they are too expensive and did very poor quality work on my car.
