I was a lil skeptical at first just because of the horror stories I've heard from others when doing projects. However, the guys at Romanoff put my concerns to rest immediately. I would definitely use them again and also recommend them to others.

They took too long to get the materials, which delayed the start of the project. Also, it was very upsetting that they charged me the cost of the project over a month prior to the project even starting.

Would not recommend this company. From the 2 salespersons, to the field installation manager, corp. office regional manager, and installer our encounters began hopeful and full of confident but it rapidly went downhill. Do not meet with these people alone make sure someone is with you to act as your witness. Canceled the first contract, I got an outside quote and met with 2nd RR sales person (much more friendly, smoother talker). Went with RR even though their quote was $2K higher based on the wall liner and tub color.Conflicting info: 1. Home Depot insist we paid balance at the start of job. Not true per HD2. Never told I would be getting a tub liner, not a tub replacement, because of the color I chose. 3. Purchase shower/tub fixtures from them or must be purchased from HD and they must be Delta fixtures. Not true per HDI requested they pull permits, was told not necessary. Contacted County official who told me it was necessary. Got drilled down by regional manager to provide name, title, dept. and tel # of the county official only to be told later that someone from RR dropped the ball and they will get the permit.Installer arrived on time, his initial spiel was that he was there to make certain I was satisfied with the install, that only lasted 2 of the 4 days he was here. He was not happy when I questioned about the wall lining seams were not aligned properly (based on the photo shown to me by the sales person the grout lines matched perfectly). Healso was not happy with me with I asked him to change the direction of the word "Push" on the tub drain from vertical to horizontal.Overlooking the imperfections the bathroom looks good, but if I had to do it again I would go with a bland white bath area by another company.I noticed after he left that the caulking along the side of tub and center panel was smeared and that he had not caulked one side of the wall and left some open area at the seam.

The overall experience with Romanoff Renovations was such a wonderful and positive one. I could not have expected more. The workmanship and the cooperation was above excellent. I am proud of my Master Bath and would recommend Romanoff Renovations to all of my family and friends. And a big Thank You to Simon. What a great craftsman he is. Thank you for a job well done to everyone on the team.

They were good, however the installers didn't know they had to remove my old shower first so there was a breakdown in the communication process somehwere. I planned my day around the time table given to me on how long it would take and it was much longer. I did this through Home Depot and I guess they contracted out to Romanoff (installers) who made sure to tell me they are NOT Home Depot. Sorry but if Home Depot hired you, you represent them and you are for all intensive purposes, HOME DEPOT! Summer also told me they would clean up my shower pan and make it look new but that never happened either. As far as the actual install, it turned out very nice (had shower doors put in). As far as the survey above,

A 16 day job for two small bathrooms took about three months. What I was told to expect didn't happen. Field Manager changed once and I had three Ambassadors. Communication problems with first field manager and first installer. Had to start the job over with new installer. New installer didn't listen to how I expected things to be done. Some things not done as I wanted but I excepted in order to get the job completed. Romanoff took responsibility and the matter has been resolved.

Romanoff did and excellent job with our bathroom, but the wrong tilling laid down on the bathroom floor. I think Donald Parker may have written down the wrong tile. I didn't notice it until after it was finished. I had a accident wimy car at that time and has a lot going on back then. The men who did the job Michale Sasasori and Chick did a great job laying it down even though it was the wrong tile which was not their fault. The wrong tile was given to them not the one we a picked out.

I ordered a new shower door in "soft" chrome. The representative then called to say the door was orderedin "shiny" chrome and they don't have a "soft' chrome which we had seen at Home Depot and they would try to get it. I was told the installer would call and let me know if it was "soft' chrome before coming out. Needless tosay we wound up with a "shiny" chrome door. The installer told us they buy direct from "Coral' and not Home Depot. While the installation went smoothly and the installer was professional, I was not happy with the way it was handled. In addition, Michelle from Romanoff woke us up the following day at 8:30AM with a phone call.We received NO copies of our order, NO copies of the receipt of the door and NO copies of the alleged warranty for 1 year.
