I employed Rooter Express to detect and fix a slab leak in my home.They rerouted the main pipeline but that did not fix the leak and they will not corect the job.BEWARE,DO NOT hire them.I did not do any research to know they were not even recommended by better busines bureau.

I called them to install a new hot water heater at one of my rental properties. They did not leave a receipt/invoice or new appliance paperwork when installed. Several months later I learned they did not reconnect the water line for the refrigerator. They said that the company had "changed owners" and they needed to ask the new owner about it. I had to call them back several times and “new owner” never would talk to me. They said it had been too long since the installation so I had to reconnect water line myself. Couple of months later the hot water heater stopped working. Called them back to get warranty repair done. They told me that they would not help me because they were not the company that installed it. They said that they only purchased the phone number from the previous company and not the customers though they had all the details about my installation in their computer system. I proceeded to ask for their assistance since they were in fact a plumbing company and my hot water heater was still under warranty, but they refused to help me. I had to call manufacturer, who was shocked with my story because any plumber can do the warranty work and labor covered by the warranty. I believe this plumber lied and had such poor reviews with BBB that they closed and reopened under a different name. Original name: Rooter Express of America. New name: Rooter Express Plumbing Services.

These people are crooks. They denied my claim after weeks of wrangling with them. They said the plumbing work was not covered because another plumber had damaged it, even though the plumbers who did the work said that it was just old pipe that had no evidence of damage. The First American rep lied to me on two occasions. I am taking my claim to the insurance commissioner’s office and getting a lawyer. It has been an awful waste of time and I have little hope of getting any satisfaction, but if I can talk one person out of using this company it will be worth the trouble of this review.

I have had Rooter Express of America, Inc to my home two times to fix a septic issue. A week after the second visit the problem arose again. I have given them thousands of dollars and am having a hard time getting them to return my phone calls never the less getting them to come back out here eventhough they warranty their work.
I have never had such a horrible experience and would never suggest them to anyone.

Our hot water heater crashed and we called the company that repaired it several years ago. They charged $60 call out fee and estimated $500 to repair or replace for $1,000. We were shocked at the repair price so started web surfing and came across Rooter Express Now. The owner called me back after 7pm at night and tried to get someone out that night. But, they arrived in the morning, fixed it for less than half of the original quote and we had hot water within the hour AND no call out fee! Great Service and value!
