Rooter Plus

So rooter plus HVAC came out to service our furnace, they called me at work with the alarming news that we had a cracked heat exchanger and several other problems. Need to replace for about 3500. I called Reliable Heating and Air (who I normally use) for a second opinion. They found no problems at all other than the furnace is getting old. Rooter also installed a new thermostat and overcharged my wife for it. Well they didn't actually hook it up correctly (this is on a different furnace) so the furnace would not turn on. The reliable guy fixed that in a couple of minutes and replaced the furnace door the tech had left off. my advise just go elsewhere.

Courteous, informative and very knowledgeable. I noticed our septic tank was leaking at 4:00pm this Saturday afternoon. Called three places and Rooter Plus was the only the company that could come out. Time was of the essence. To our relief, George arrived at 4:50pm. Upon inspection and talking with my husband it was discovered that our pump wasn't working properly. Once the electric issue was resolved our tank water pumped down and we did not need the tank pumped. This is our first home with a septic tank and George took his time to explain where everything was and how everything worked. And yes, we do have two tanks. But neither of them needed pumping. George and Richie checked out everything and we were fine. They were here for 45 mins. and there was no charge! I will say I did read these reviews and was completely worried, but thankfully unnecessarily. As with any repair, there are unforeseen problems that may arise. I can only say that each homeowner should to be somewhat educated before any such repair work is completed. You might think it's a simple pump that is needed, but my neighbors ran into the same problem others reported (with a different co.). It's not a simple $200 job when you need to dig up the lawn. Luckily for us we have easy access and our septic is in perfect working condition. When we do need a pump I will be calling Rooter Plus, and also requesting George! Thank you so much for making this still a beautiful weekend!

I called twice to ask about their low pump out price. I was told that they can offer such a low price because they take their tanks to an area that charges one low fee. They came to my house and immediately began up chargingcharging for things I was never told about on the phone, even though I mentioned my situation. My husband sent them packingShame on you.Consumers Beware.

I called Rooter Plus for a simple septic pump job, thinking it would be around $200, at most $300 since that is what I was quoted. Before he even put his backhoe in the ground, he was talking like it would need additional work, as though we had called with a problem. He dug it up, and described some things that needed fixing, estimating around $2500. Of course he made it sound pretty dire. Then he quoted $500 just to pump the thing. He sited that it would require a lot of work to get the truck back there, but then told me he just intended to run over my yard, landscape rocks, etc. Where is the difficulty in running things over to get to the back yard?? Seemed to me he came looking to offer a diagnosis where there wasnt a problem, and inflated his charges before he even got out of his truck. NOT a company I would do business with. Red flags everywhere, its just a matter of paying attention to them.

Do yourself a favor and call a local small business; they may quote more upfront, but the price will be the same when they get there. Plus they may be able to offer solutions to solve the problem since they are thinking for themselves, and not trained sales-monkeys with heavy equipment.

Avoid this company. They will up-sell you with products and services that you do not need. I received a low-ball quote to pump my septic tank. When they were finished they gave me a bill for over $3,000. I have spoken with the Forsyth Health Department and they have had many complaints with RooterPLUS. There are other companies in this line of work that are trustworthy and honest. This company has no ethics or morals. Their owner refused to speak with me. Save yourself $1,000’s and do not use this organization. Put this company out of business.
