One of the better Indian restaurants in Atlanta After moving to Atlanta my wife and I searched all over for a great Indian restaurant. We have tried about 10 different places and we both agree that india tandoori is the best that we have found in Atlanta. The food is great and the service is friendly.I love indian food

This is a nice find on Peachtree Industrial, not where you'd expect to get good Indian food. The service is top notch with a staff who make good recommendations if you tell them what you like. I've always enjoyed the entrees at the Rose, but the flavors are not always consistent, so I guess the food varies with who is cooking. Still, they have a rich Masala sauce that always has just the right bite. My only caveat, think PINK before you go in so you won't be surprised by the decor.

My only regret in writing this review is letting out my secret and favorite Indian restaurant. The building itself, like other reviews will say, will make you question going here. Don't! The inside is well decorated with very mellow lighting and a lot of traditional Indian decor. The food was top-notch and the service attentive without being too intrusive. The only poor thing there, I felt, was the coffee, but who goes to an Indian restaurant for coffee? Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed!

The outside is unimpressive, almost sketchy-looking. But, the inside is clean, and the food is delicious. We had the lamb curry, chickpea curry, chicken tikki appetizer, mango chutney, two kinds of naan, and a type of ice cream-like dessert. Everything was tasty and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Also, the tea was nice and strong and well-spiced. The default level of heat for the entrees is mild, so if you like it hot, you will want to ask for moderate or hot (which is pretty darned hot).
