We were so excited to see this place open in our area, and we tried it right away. I must say, we were impressed. There aren't too many soul food places in OC, and this place not only fits the bill, but it does so wonderfully. Lots of good dishes like gumbo, catfish, fried-green tomatoes, po-boys, chicken & waffles, ribs, etc. Oh, and red beans and rice! Everything we have tried we loved. One huge problem, though - the price. They are very over-priced for this style of food ($16 for a catfish po-boy, $14 for spaghetti, $16 for gumbo, $18 for smothered pork chops, and $28 for rib-eye.) But if this type of food is what you are craving, the price isn't that big of a deal. Enjoy!
