I have been dancing at Royal for 13 years. There isn't anything I don't love about it. Their variety of classes are diverse and their teachers are top-of-the-notch. They are attentive and welcoming and push each dancer to their full potential. Compared to other studios in the area, Royal is by far the most appropriate in their costumes choreography. I would recommend Royal to any dancer, beginning to advanced!

My children have been dancing at Royal for 4 years and I am amazed at how much it has influenced them. They show a much greater level of maturity, confidence, and discipline thanks to the great staff and the friendships they have formed. The teachers have gotten to know them and have taken an interest in their success, not just in dance. They pay attention to them and care about their academics and health as well. The caliber of the teachers and the guest teachers that they get to learn from is amazing.

I'm a student here, and I love it! I'm not in performance, but I still get equal and wonderful attention. the prices may be a little high but the quality of what you learn is fantastic! I dont believe the dances are to "adult" they are dances that are appropriate, and we our level exceeds any other studio out there! We have world famous choreographers like Mia Michaels, and Brian Friedman, and we've had our students make it to vegas in "So You Think You Can Dance"! The studio has won so many awards the pilling up at the front desk. If you have a dream in dancing, want to open up , or just have fun dancing, and making new friends Royal Dance Works is the place to go!they have class for kids as young as three to adults!!

My daughter danced with Rosemary in the little one's classes and had a great time. It was a nice intro to dance, but I couldn't keep her there because the older girls dance too "adult" for their age. It is not appropriate.

As far as dance studios go, this one is like them all. The price is high, the expectations to buy expensive costumes is there, and the older girls are taught to move like adults. The children's program is well-put together with Miss Rosemary as the lead, but little girls grow up fast there.

Teachers for the little girls were excellent. Miss Rosemary was amazing. The recitals are very good. Some of the older girls teachers seem to take less interest in the non performance group girls. Very expensive on an hourly basis compared to other athletic programs.
