Beware!
I was recommended to this "home" by a deacon. On the initial visit Rucker was very warm and open-everyone was. Once we decided to do business everything changed. The director quoted me a price but less than 16 hours before the funeral he changed the price (increasing it) and threatened to cancel my father's funeral. I was a college student at the time paying out of pocket for my dad's funeral. The funeral was on a Monday and he insisted that I give him the remaining $2000 by Friday. Well, in the end I had to threaten him with the possibility of going to court. Im not saying- dont go to these people- but I will say that funeral homes are businesses too and they play on your emotions to win your comfort and your money. Try not to let you bereavement cloud your mental stability.
