It took the movers slighly over 5 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment, which ended up costing me over $400. When I initially called, they estimated it would take 3hrs, having been provided with a description of the furniture, number of boxes, floor level, elevator/stairs, and distance of the move. Given their hourly rate, I estimated it would cost $275 $300 at most. However, I was grossly mistaken. Aside from being dissatisfied with the time and cost of the move, once I began setting, I noticed damage to the furniture. Another item for consideration, they were also 1 hr late from the scheduled start time.

I read all of the reviews related to SR Delivery prior to calling and setting up an appointment. So, I was expecting an "efficient and careful" move, as one reviewer described. However, this was not the case. (I can agree with the reviewer's statement that they are friendly.)

The lesson learned from this experience, is that you get what you pay for. Although their hourly rates are less expensive then the well-known moving companies, in total you will end up paying more.

My husband and I have moved rental homes 3 times in the last 3 years. Each time we have had Rod at SR Delivery move us, and can say that he is simply the best in town. He is very personable and very professional and really will care about your belongings and treasures as much as you do. Rod and his capable team do the job right, and you can trust your things are in excellent hands. Using a small, locally owned business has its advantages, and you will really see the difference with using them. I had once hired Peachtree Movers and got the feeling that the workers were just working for that day only, and they had no investment in repeat business, etc. Rod is very different. He truly wants to earn your repeat business and referrals, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to all of my friends. Rod and his great, friendly team can do moves of all sizes - small condos to million dollar homes. He also has twice installed our fancy chrome shower curtain rod with a power drill. Also, he is available for hanging pictures and paintings for a very small extra charge, as well as hauling away any of your left over junk, trash and furniture and clothes that need to go to Goodwill. They are a 'One-Stop-Shop'!

Wow! These guys were great. I don't think we could have had a better moving experienceand at an incredible price. They were on time, efficient, friendly, professional, mindful of our time, and very careful with all of our items. I was so impressed with the entire experience I will recommend them to all of our friends and family.

the professionalism, the ingenuity on how to maneuver items in tight spaces, and the ease in which they operate is was refreshing. SR Delivery is by far the best experience I have had with a local mover/delivery company. they gave each item the type of care as if it were their own. book them! -- miss cherie
