Sabroso seemed to have an identity crisis at first... it was kind of Mexican or Tex Mex...then it was kind of a tapas bar... now it's kind of a hybrid...but I still love it. The drinks are awesome, the outdoor patio is one of the nicest in town and the food is very good (if you see something on the menu you like, you might want to order it 'cause it may not be on the menu next time you go back... that's my only complaint is that they seem to change the menu too frequently). Great place and plenty of parking. Check it out!

My friends and I had a girls night here and none of us were really happy with the experience. The food was ok but, way over priced for the portions. The patio was cute but the service left a lot to desire. It took for ever to get our way to high check. Then after we paid they gave us lolly pops as if to say, "suckers!".

Sabroso's used to me my favorite spot to take outof town guests but my recent experience was awful. I asked a waiter what other salad dressings were available and he rudely said, "None" and walked off. The waiters there lately are rather snobby. I actually loved the laid-back personality but I don't know what happened from summer to winter. Can't say I'll be returning any time soon.

Same owner as Front page news & tijauana garage (fomerly here), missed the boat with this tapas joint. Portions are small and oddly matched, and slightly pricey for what you get. Patio is still as charming as ever, but don't go with high expectations.
