I wrote a review a week or so ago of Salon Moraee because the lady who answered when I called for an appointment was very impersonal, and responded to my "good morning, how are you?"... with an abrupt 'FINE'. She offered zero professional courtesy or polite phone etiquette by asking the same of me. I was totally turned off at such curt responses so I told her I had wrong number and ended the call. She showed no interest or concerns for me and why I called that morning or returned my call, until my review posted. I would like to believe her efforts to make that unfortunate situation right, by way of a free haircut if I take my review down, would be OK. The irony to this story is this woman was borderline harassing me with phone calls and texts to take the review down and now all the stylists at this salon are too busy, and booked all day and all night, to get me in before my surgery next Tuesday the 20th. Today is Monday and I wrote the review Tuesday the 6th. Still no haircut even though I took the review down right away. It seems once again my courteous nature was not mirrored by this salon. Funny how this salon was able and willing to squeeze that other reviewer in the same day she called just this past week. The sense of urgency on behalf of Salon Moraee seems to have faded (with me), now that I deleted the review. I prefer to share my experience with others versus a free haircut anyway.

We all love to be pampered and getting a haircut is pretty high up on my pamper list. Salon Moraee goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. I was greeted with smiles by their friendly and social staff. While I waited (because I got there early) they offered me water.. and even a glass of WINE! It's trendy and very classy inside. Kendall was my hairstylist and to say that I loved him.. would be an understatement. He is truly a professional and LISTENS to what you want while giving his experienced opinion to make sure you are happy with the end result. Not to mention, his so nice! And he will have the best conversations with you while he is doing your hair.

I'm super selfish with reviews when it comes to hairstylists....why? Because when I find a good one I want to keep the secret to myself!!! Well I'm spreading the love now. Last month I had a haircut with Alesyah and it was great. The entire experience, from the phone call to make the appointment through me walking out the door post-cut, was incredible. When I called in for an appointment the receptionist thoroughly explained the menu of services and the tiers of their stylists as well as the fact that they don't pass you off from one person to another meaning, the stylist will also wash your hair. Very impressive and it was nice that they took the time to bring a new client up to speed with their services. The salon is beautiful! so much natural lighting. Amazing ambience. The shampoo stations are incredibly comfortable. It's not a chair...it's more of a lay down on this soft padded table and all you have to do is roll your head from one side to the other (none of that lift your head from one awkward position into another!). Best shampoo setup ever!!!! Alesyah was super sweet and we chatted the entire time. Super friendly and had some great suggestions for my longer hairstyle. After she was done with the cut and style I changed my mind and wanted my side-swept bangs a little shorter and she was happy to accommodate the change. Couldn't ask for a better experience, plus this place is super close!

I was at this salon, referred to stylist Kim Breedlove. I was suppose to get a sew in take down and put back in. She took down the sew in and then washed my hair. She did not comb it through which resulted my hair to dread and matte. I figured she was the professional and knew what she was doing (Basic 101). After she seen the disaster she caused she passed me over to Damon (thank God for him). Kim continued on with here day after destroying my hair, he spent over 5 hours ripping and pulling trying to get these dreads out of my hair. He even stated he couldnt believe she didn't comb it first. Needless to say Damon stayed at the salon 3:30- 1am finishing my hair (unacceptable). I am very very upset and thinking about going to small claims court. The salon, professionalism and experience dropped the ball and I was the one who suffered. I am horrified. I came to the salon with a head full of long hair and left out with damage, breakage, unevenness. I called the next day to speak to the owner she said she heard about my situation and said she would read my email and return my call. lol. Never heard from her. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

So I read these reviews before coming in and disregarded the negative ones only to find that I was put in a chair with the newest stylist there...literally two months. I was very friendly with her and didn't want to judge so I let her do my hair color. I left only to later find hair dye and conditioner still in my hair. I called to get this fixed on got no response. Again this may vary from stylist to stylist but the stylists do speak for the company culture. There are probably other very fabulous stylists there but just do your research first. They are definitely friendly but just be careful. Hope this is helpful.

I have been searching for a new salon and after reading tons of reviews on Alisia and Salon Moraee I decided to give them a try. I am really glad I did because Alisia did the best job on my hair that I've had done since living in Atlanta for 5 years. To top things off, she was done in an hour!!! I am so glad I ignored the negative reviews for my sake. Please give them a shot!!!!!!!!

I went to check out this salon after getting a discount gift certificate. The stylist was the owner of the salon. The salon is upscale and nice looking, so I thought they knew how to do hair. My hair is natural with no chemicals, so I wanted a blowout and flat iron for my birthday, with a demi permanent rinse. The stylist acted like she didn't know what to do with my hair, got the black hair dye all over my face and shirt (MY FACE LOOKED LIKE ZEBRA STRIPES)and singed my hair off with the superhot flat iron.Did not notice how bad the damage was until I got home. My hair looked and felt dry, brittle and burnt to a crisp. Over a period of two weeks, the hair on the left side of my head fell out to the scalp (about the size of two silver dollar sized patch). Horrified, Went to see my regular stylist who confirmed that my hair was so badly damaged and burnt off from the horrible flat iron incident that I would need a serious haircut and series of protein treatments. Do not go to this salon if you want to keep your hair. The stylist clearly did not have knowledge of how to straighten natural hair or how to correctly apply color without getting it all over the client. Whoever wrote the positive reviews about this place probably works for the salon. Beware!!
