Wow, I just had one of the worst experiences at Taya Salon. Now I wish I would have read other reviews before I gave them my business since I see others have had similar issues! I ended up with a TERRIBLE hair cut ($250 later!!!???). I tried to get a hold of them over the next three weeks and nobody was ever in the salon. I had lost her number and finally was able to get a hold of her. She told me that she would CHARGE ME TO FIX HER MISTAKE! The hair cut was completely off...instead of having it gradually get longer in the front, I had two different lengths of hair. It was awful. I texted her to say that I was unwilling to pay for her to fix her mistake and she suggested I come in at 2pm to fix it. I told her I had to bring my two young children with me. She said that was fine. I left a playdate early in order to get to the appointment on time with my little ones in tow. I sat down at the chair with my kids finally settled in and she proceeded to tell me she was going to charge me to fix her mistake. I was appalled! This fix would have most likely taken about 10-15 min!!! She said her time is valuable and that she doesn't work for free. I can't believe how much time I wasted just to get my hair cut fixed...I assure you my time is just as valuable. I will be finding another stylist and paying for a second hair cut to fix this one. They do not stand by their work and they are ridiculously overpriced considering. Do not waste your money (or your hair!).
