Our replaster turned to a melange of mottled gray stains and our concrete coping eroded; contractor did not respond to numerous phone calls and letters until complaint was filed with CSLB. Rather than addressing the issue of poor workmanship and materials, contractor blamed our water chemistry and then our pool service. Our complaints remain unresolved. :-) BEWARE!

These people did a shoddy and ugly job re-plastering my pool with 3M Quartz. The pool is blue with multiple white streaks and blotching. They attempted a Band-aid fix by giving the pool an acid wash. The results were an abrasive sufrace with a rough concrete looking surface. I have an expensive custom pool. These people made my pool look like a cheap drainage ditch. I registered a compllaint to the CSLB.

We had these people out 3 years ago also. The finish was so rough that my 3 year old son's feet would bleed. They finally came back and said we needed a diamond sanding. This of course would cost an additional $350. Helped a little but still rough and now looks like spider web cracks. Put a lien on the house when we wouldn't pay the $350. Stay away!

I have to say, after reading all the horrible reviews on here I am shocked. I appreciate the work that San Diego Pool Plastering did. My backyard looks great. They were fast and efficient. The office staff was friendly when I would call and the work was done in a quick professional manner. I will be recommending SDPP to my friends and family!

These people make a good impression when they come out for the estimate, but BEWARE!!! The workers are SLOPPY. They leave a huge mess, even after REPEATED visits to clean things up - they make things WORSE !!! As far as I'm concerned - they're crooks and should be put out of business. If any of this doesn't concern you - have at it!

They say 'the bigger they are, the harder they fall'....well...SDPP is the biggest in SD and they fall way, way, way, short of being the best! Just don't contract with them...actually, don't even ask them for an estimate! We're happy to give you details on our experience, if you would like. mandmsparks at yahoo

Our pool was re-finished by this company three years ago. During construction, they did not clean up their mess until asked. Additionally they killed our grass. Finally, after draining the pool recently, we noticed some cracks. I made six phone calls to the business to have somebody come out to look at and fix the pool. It took almost TWO WEEKS for someone to come out and look at the pool. At which time they told me it was my fault the pool was cracked. That pool shouldn't have been drained so long.
