San Diego Zoo

San Diego Zoo rates up there with Cininnati's. It's a massive place and a lot of uphill walking - bring stroller for younguns'. We were mesmerized by that green/white python. The zoo is clean and beautifully landscaped. A wonderful day out!

Oh, the San Diego Zoos are just huge and massive, full of so many species of animals. It can be quite a trek to go through the whole thing in one day, especially with younger children. Lots to see and the gift shops are just chock full.

Ok so for the first in about 3 years and after living in SD for so long I finally went to the zoo and totally had a blast! Although must say we got a major sunburn there after sitting for the seal show exposed for 45 minutes (about the only bummer, they do need a cover or something for the auditoriums they have). But the skytrail was awesome (a bit on the freaky side but a wonderful view). And seeing all the animals were fantastic. I'm glad I have a membership (mind you it was like what 80 bucks for two people for unlimited use of not just the zoo but the wild animal park also for a whole year plus got guest passes too - awesome - better than anywhere lse, people who complain about price need to grow up, you trying paying for the upkept of wild animals to ensure their survival and educate the public about life on earth, sheesh) as I sure will be coming back and its a wonderful way to exercise while seeing all the animals at the same time. And for going on Mother's Day it was surprisingly not so busy which was nice.

Have been to San Diego Zoo 3 times in 2 years, don't think I've seen it all! Highly recommend taking the bus tour, then walking to things you want to see closer.

It has great animals, great paths, great maps and helpful employees! I really enjoyed my day here and although it's hard to do in one day, if you are ready to hoof it all day long and make a plan, you can see all that they have!
