We were referred to Saxton by Rheem for water heater repairs. Tim the plumber came initially to troubleshoot the problem and ordered some replacement parts. When the parts arrived we scheduled an appointment with Tim to install the replacement parts. He arrived on time and commenced work. Part of the job was to drain the water out of the tank. While that was in progress Tim pointed out a code violation; there is no thermal expansion tank installed on the water heater. My wife explained that she had researched this matter previously and Gwinnett County has no code requirement for a thermal expansion tank when a pressure relief value is installed. Tim persisted in arguing that it is state requirement based on federal law. He stated that he wasn't trying to sell us an upgrade but we were wasting water. After about five minutes I told him "I get it, you don't have to keep telling us". At this point he became angry and walked off the job saying "you will not disrespect me". At this point the water heater tank is still draining, the gas supply has been cut off and the part has not been installed. We have called another plumbing company to come in and complete the job. My wife and I have been inconvenienced by Tim's failure to perform. We cannot recommend Saxton Residential Services to anyone.

They stood me up one appointment and then showed up a day early for the rescheduled appointment. They fought with each other in my home and made me feel very uncomfortable.

WE are very sorry to inconvience this customer. We always try to do a good job for our customers.
I have the exact same complaints the others below have of this husband and wife team. He came to the house and actually broke the toilet and then called the home warranty company and made a false claim so they would not warrant it even after putting in writing he broke the flange. Do not allow them in your house, incompetent and just plain rude.

This review is completly false This customers flang was broken when we arrived WE attempted to repair however we did not have the right material so we offered to return and fix his toliet as cursoty no charge instead he refused to pay his service fee and demanded the tech out of the home. He called our office a few days later and wanted us to return to do the repair due to his actions we politly told him that he would have to find another plumber.
My home Warranty company sent Saxton Residential to my home to repair my water heater. I have a a 1 year old son and and I do in home child care as well. I had no hot water. They came out and diagnosed the problem and repaired the water heater. They were very coutious and gave me great advice on how to maintain my water heater. i would definatly use them again in the future. GREAT JOB

The worst part is that if they come for a home warranty call, they then manipulate the problems to report to the warranty company that the issues are not covered. Then the homeowner has to spend time explaining to the warranty company the unprofessionalism and incompetence of the contractors, and convincing the home warranty company to send someone else to look at the problem (which they understandably do not want to do.) My advice is that if the home warranty company tries to send out Saxton Residential, politely refuse service and request another contractor.

We have been doing warranty work for over 20 years we always are vrey honest with the customer and the homewarranty company it is there call weather the repair is covered under there warranty. It is a sham that the customer holds the vendor responable for something that is out of there controle. We always try to help people out weather they use us or another company.WE understand the frustations of a item not being covered but my advise is do not hold the vendor responable for the home warrranty dession
This husband and wife team came out on a warranty call. Our gas was turned off and it was an emergency. They called in the am day of appointment and said they wouldn't be able to make it until the following day because they had another job. I had to call our warrranty company to make them honor thier appointment. When they finally got here, they said that the gas line was not covered under the warranty and that it would cost $350.00. I called another company that came right out (HVAC) and charged $100.00 for the job.

We are trulry sorry for the inconvience of this customer,we always try our very best to please all our customers. We do understand the frustations of being without gas or water. The item was not covered under her warranty and we are glad she got her gas leak fixed.
This husband and wife team was at my house for home warranty work. Of course, they claimed they couldn't do the work that was covered by the warranty but they were really eager to do unnecessary work that I would have to pay out of pocket. After checking with warranty company, the work they refused to do was in fact covered by the warranty and they should have completed the job. Instead they did nothing and left with my deductible. The warranty company has been trying to reach these guys for an explanation but they haven't been returning their calls. Don't trust these two!
