SAY San Diego (Social Advocates For Youth) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the San Diego area for 35 years. They specialize in not only providing services to young people, but their families as well. SAY offers a wide range of programs including delinquency prevention, before and after school programs, child care, drug use prevention, mental health services, school readiness, and much more. In 2005, SAY served approximately 35,000 families in San Diego, with studies showing that 93% of children in SAY?s programs did not have further trouble with the law. They have programs and locations at schools throughout the San Diego Unified School District. Financial donations as well as volunteers are gladly accepted.
