Worst Meal I Ever Had, 7/26/2009

I had an entreee with an Alfredo sauce. It tasted like paste. There was no flavor at all. I've had things that I did not like or did not taste good but this was something that was inedible.

Very disapointed - new recipes, 5/31/2009

Chicken Fettuccine w/Alfredo: sauce was hollandaise, not made with cheese, Chicken was boiled not grilled.

Disappointing

Ordered chicken Romano, cook put on old Marsala sauce instead of making Romano fresh. Afraid to send back.

Yum! Yum! Yum!

I've eaten Scalini's food twice-- once in person and once for take-out for our 14th anniversary. Both times were exceptional. The take-out was carefully packed and everything was ultra fresh. Bring on the garlic! Bring on the cheese! YUM.

Love the garlic rolls

We love the chicken parm, garlic rolls and salad. I could make a meal on the garlic rolls. One thing though, you can get better canoli at Publix and for less money.

Italian food

Tasty Italian foods and seafoods. Lots of atmosphere. Formerly in the Galleria area, it's now defected to East Cobb.

Wonderful Garlic Rolls

The garlic rolls at Scalini's are scrumptious. All of their Italian dishes are delicious. I especially like the tortellini.

We LOVE this place !! (Cobb pkwy location)

Our first visit was to celebrate and anniversary (we were looking for a quaint and cozy Italian restaurant to replace the one we first dated at in Portland, OR) and we havent been to another Italian place since we found Scalini's ! Great food and very friendly, attentive staff. Buy some rolls to take home too.

Nice atmosphere

I could think of a few italian restaurants with better food and they are a bit pricey for what you get.

Free Birthday Meal! Rolls are Divine!

This restaurant has really good food but it's the yeasty, garlic-laden rolls that will really get your attention! Service is attentive and pleasant-great little intimate booths.Do consider a birhtday visit-bringyour ID and receive a free meal-complete with spumoni ice cream for dessert. How cool is that?

Good Italian

We tried Scalini's as their eggplant parmesean is supposed to make someone go into labor and they have a deal if you do within 24 hours then you get a free meal. Well, we were a little off (maybe 36 hours). Perhaps it was the leftovers! Anyway, good Italian if you are in the neighborhood.

Delish!

Scalini's is a tradition with my friends, our favorite place to eat. A note on the rolls -- you can order them plain (no garlic or butter) or butter-only. I like the taste but don't like to smell of garlic the next day, so I usually order them plain. My favorite item is the Spinach Tortellini Florentine -- cheese-stuffed spinach tortellini in alfredo sauce on a bed of spinach, covered in cheese and baked in an individual dish. I have a friend who always orders the Chicken & Eggplant Parmesan, and that's great too.

Best Italian Restaurant in Cobb

Our family has been going to Scalini's for about 25 years and have not found a better Italian restaurant in Cobb County. Warning! The garlic rolls are very adictive. Definitely try the veal marsala!
