My neighbor had the people of Scottsdale re-do their landscaping earlier this spring. What I want to share with you is their experience. PLEASE - learn from my neighbor's mistakes. 1) Check their references and 2) Ask for their Guarantee policy in advance. I'm not going to bad mouth this place, but please do your due diligence FIRST. A few days before Christmas I went to look for a PRELIT Christmas tree. They were having 30% off their Holiday decor. I saw a slim PRELIT Christmas tree that would fit the bill but the bottom lights were not working. I asked a salesperson if I could have more off and she went to ask one of the managers. The manager came over and said yes. So I got 50% off. Yay! Got it home and discovered that there were NO lights on the tree. What? So I called and was told that they had been cut off. Huh? So I returned to Scotsdale to sort this out. Turns out that the lights I had seen on the tree were NOT the original manufacture lights. They were regular string lights they had put on. Still selling the tree as prelit. I said I would not have purchased the tree had I known that. They were willing to give me lights but I have lights and that defeats the purpose of having a PRELIT tree. I said I'd take the tree if they could give me more off for a tree with no lights. The manager asked another manager and she said that that's the best they can do and besides "there's nothing wrong with the tree." Nothing wrong with the tree? It's not the original prelit tree. So here I am, no tree. I will be returning the tree and everything else I purchased. I am very dissatisfied with the result of this transaction and will probably not be going back. Furthermore I will be sharing my experience with friends and family. Don't expect much from management. NOT customer friendly.

One of the managers, Dan is very sarcastic and expected to charge me to check out plants they installed 4 months ago. When I told him how they were installed her said "send me a picture." The guys did not dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Last summer hired one of their designer who never got back to me until I complained. The manager brought during the discussion of the plants not doing well. He is rude and the owners might want to hire someone who is more supportive of customers!!!!!!!!!!!! Ger rid of Dan.

I came across Scottsdale Farms Garden Center when I couldn't find some plants. They were able to help me locate exactly what I was looking for. Prices are alittle higher, but the plants are all top quality. I always find something interesting for my garden.
