Don't let Sears fool you with their "30 day satisfaction guarantee" --- once they have your money, you will not see them again. Upholstery cleaning was performed last week. No visible difference after paying $157. When I asked for someone to come back out to re-do the cleaning I was basically told the sofa and loveseat had "pre-existing conditions" Yes, most of the time upholstery has dirt on it when someone wants to get it professionally cleaned! When I try to elevate my concerns, I get looped around to many people who do not have the least bit of interest in rectifying the situation. Sears used to be all about integrity...now they are just a flimsy company with no qualms about taking advantage of people. I will never use them again, and have already filed a complaint with the BBB.

The technician was so focused on the upsell. He immediatly bagan by telling us it would cost more upon entering our home. He was very frustrated and irritable when we asked questions on why it would cost more than what we signed up for. He said , "Lady I don't care what you want, you will have to pay more. We promptly told him find his way to the door and his services were not needed after all.

The carpet technician damaged a set of sliding closet doors. The call center manager sent someone out to inspect, and agreed to repair it within 48 hours. Since then, the call center manager has gone back and forth. He agrees to repair it, says he'll call back with a time and date, then the next time we talk, he says he decided not to. Each time, the call ends with him agreeing to repair, and promising to call back. This has gone on for 3 weeks so far. And on top of this, I had to have Stanley Steemer come out and re-clean one of the areas because the cleaning did not remove the dirt and odor from one of the rooms.
