I bought a new GE profile washer & dryer with pedestals from Sears at Gwinnett Mall. The delivery/installers arrived at my house with a damaged washer (dents). The installers had no idea how to attach the pedestals to the washer and dryer. The installers could give me no answers on how this problem was going to be fixed. A call to the Sears, "Customer No Service" resulted in a shouting match with the rudest, meanest, most incompetent customer no service person Sears has employed. Bottom line, stay away from this company for your appliance needs.

Found out the cost to repair my 7-year-old Kenmore Elite dryer would be $326 so I declined the repair and began researching a replacement. Sears had the best price on the GE model I had chosen, but they didn't keep it in stock so we had to wait 4 days to get it delivered (not cool). They showed up on time, but did not have all the parts to complete the installation (less cool). The tech called in to report the missing item and turned to my husband and said, "They will call you in a few minutes to tell you when they will be back out to finish the installation." When we had received no call by 10am the next morning, I called the 800#. I was told they wouldn't have anyone in my area for 4 days (way not cool). I explained that I was not scheduling a new delivery, I was trying to get a previously scheduled delivery completed and it should take priority over future deliveries, then I asked to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor tells me they will have someone in my area the next day (4 days, huh?). And I still had to wait for a call that night to find out my "2-hour window" when they would come, had to wait at home AGAIN for a tech to arrive and couldn't use my dryer for 2 days longer than the 4 day wait to get the dryer delivered in the first place. Not pleased at all.
