Sellers, Gladstone A MD

Dr. Sellers has been our doc for 7 years now - I had gone to a few doctors getting second opinions, until I visited with him; who took his time to listen and understand, learn and help me w/ my issue.
I can't stand drugs - and he avoids prescribing them unless it is really necessary.
I have never waited more than ten min. to be seen by him. And the staff at Mt. Vernon Internal Medicine is always plesant to deal with.
As a person, I see him as a down to earth, giving, easy going, good father and husband.
Thank you Dr. Sellers for being there for us!

I have been going to Dr Sellers for about 8 years and even though we have moved further away in Gwinnett County, I still will drive the hour or more it takes to get to his office. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes and if I am early, his nurse calls me back. I feel he has the time to listen to me and I don't feel like he is rushed. One person mentioned he is quick to prescribe drugsthat has not been the case with me. My cholesterol is slightly elevated and he told me to watch my diet and he would monitor that before putting me on cholesterol lowering drugs. I recommend him highly!...

If you like a by the book physician and you're a big believer in prescription drugs - then this may be the doctor for you. But Dr. Sellers seems to gravitate towards old school medicine with a 'fix it with drugs' mentality. When I told him I take vitamins, he asked me simply "why bother"? When my good cholesterol was slightly off, he immediately prescribed medicine vs. emphasizing diet and exercise. I won't be going back.

My entire family has been going to Dr. Sellers for the past 10 years and we trust him and would recommend him to anyone looking for an internist in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area.
