My insurance recommended this mitigation company, and I have seen the green trucks around, so I decided to use them.
After calling the office, which they seemed nice because a young lady answered and was very helpful, they sent a gentlemen over within two hours. I was relieved that they sent someone over quickly, however the technician that was sent over was very unprofessional. His appearance was really sloppy and he really did not know what he was talking about.
I do not recall his name, but it was an older Caucasian man who seemed very uneducated and a little pompous. I am not sure if he is one of the owners, but if he is I could only imagine how the business is run.
I didn't want to judge the entire business based on this one man, so I decided to use them.
The workers were nice and worked fast, and didn't leave a mess. But one thing I noticed was that they were rarely supervised by anyone, and I only saw the owner, that came to inspect my house, come by one other time.
The day the equipment was suppose to be picked up, I was told that someone was going to come by between 8am-9am and no one showed up. I called the office at 11am and the young lady told me that someone was going to come by in an hour. I was irritated because I have been waiting all morning. I thought this was really unprofessional and finally someone came by almost 2 hours later.
Overall no thank you in using this company.

After having a water loss at my home I was told by my insurance to use this company. I had the misfortune of meeting a man by the name of Steve who stated he was the technician in charged. He was very arrogant and extremely uneducated. He was obnoxious and extremely loud when talking on his phone almost as if he was showing off. I was expecting someone with professionalism and knowledge instead he was talking about other things not related to his work. He was not at all knowledgeable. He was unable to answer any question with a straight forward answer not to mention that his appearance was terrible as well. His clothes seem old and washed out. The workers doing the work seemed to be more knowledgeable, clean and a lot more educated. The work that was done was average. I was expecting a more professional company since Servpro is such a big company but I was extremely disappointed. The thing that made me the most upset is when I heard him attempting to speak in an urban way. I felt as though he was making fun of African Americans. This behavior is unacceptable when you step into someone’s home. I ended up using them since it was an emergency but I highly regret it since the work wasn’t all that good and the workers were not at all supervised by anyone. I felt the need to come by the house a lot to make sure for myself everything was going good. I will never again use them or recommend them. Management is everything and this company does not have that.
