I saw Dr. Pope for one visit. He was over 30 minutes late (left work early so that I could be on time for my appt). Not only that, but he was more interested in his iPhone than he was in talking with me. Each and every time his iPhone rang or some other tone, he would stop in the middle and take the call. Further, he would forget what we were talking about. My appt was for one hour, but if you subtract the time he took in answering his calls or text messages, he probably only spent 40 minutes with me. To me, this is terrible. He has a total disrespect of my time or my issue for which I was seeing him. I will never go back and will never recommend him. I called my referring Physician and let him know how I was treated so that he won't refer others to him.

I've been to Dr. Pope numerous times because he is the only Dr near me that my insurance will cover. He has never been on time. He is very nice, but I can't take the waiting. It's not just 10 or 15 min. -- it's always over 30 min. One time I had to wait over an hour.

I have had 6 appointments with Dr. Pope, 2 of which he has kept me waiting more than 15 minutes past my appointment time, 1 of which he kept me waiting over 30 minutes past my appointment time, and most recently after waiting 40 minutes past my appointment time I left and I am not going back. He seems like a nice guy and is just fine as a doctor. It's too bad he has absolutely no respect for his paying customers' (aka 'patients') time. The receptionist ALWAYS calls me to remind me I have an appointment, but she NEVER calls to tell me they are running late and I don't need to leave work early to come to my appointment on time. Pathetic. If you have time to burn, he's probably just fine. If you work for a living, you might want to check out another doctor...
