Owner brought her large dog for the estimate who ran our & our neighbor's yard unleashed-inappropriate. Nice proposal for half the yard, but she proposed to do nothing with half of yard with significant water/drainage issues. When challenged to consider this, owner proclaimed "Look, I'm an expert." Then stated "Look,I have a family". If you'd rather spend Saturdays with you family, don't scheduled appts. on that day. She then apologized for being unprofessional. I told her she needed to leave. True "experts" don't need to make such proclamations and are humble enough to admit that they don't know everything. Rudeand bad experience. Makes me wonder about some of the other reviews.

ShadyGrove Landscaping has done such great work for us. Three years ago they transformed our front yard with a dry creek bed, new bushes and eliminated dead grass. The stone accents among the mulched area is a touch we couldn't imagine--but it really looks fantastic. They did such a remarkable job we just had to have them back. Tina helped us transform our back yard in Dec. 2011. When I saw our backyard after they added stepping stones and mulch I said "Wow." I didn't think it could look that great. We have them coming back in Spring 2012. We are having them add more plantings and heat,drought tolerant turf. Tina gave lots of suggestions and we are excited to see the outcome.
Their website has great ideas. It helped to look at their completed projects. Tina has always worked with us to create amazing landscape magic. The workers are truly courteous, helpful, and very skilled. Since it is a family-owned and operated business, they take their job very seriously. It is obvious they are proud of what they do and it shows. Our Highest recommendations for the ShadyGrove crew.

Shady Grove was the best contractor we have ever worked with. Danny & Tina work well together with fabulous ideas & professionalism. Their crew are amazing. The company stands by their work and stayed in communication with us throughout the project. They completed the work in a timely manner. I loved how kind & professional they treated their workers also. Use this company if you want a great job done with unique ideas.

We used Shady Grove for back and side yard landscaping, including some erosion problems. Tina provided us with a creative design after carefully listening to what we wanted. Danny and his crew were completely professional and efficient and were very patient and persistent in dealing with our city's permitting issues. Pricing is comparable to other estimates we obtained. Our yard already looks 100% better and we plan on using them again to complete the job.
