I had went to a foot specialist and they told me one thing and I noticed that my foot was not healing. I asked a friend to for help she then told me about Dr. Shaheed. After visiting with their office my follow up appointment was with Dr. Curry! I was misdiagnosed ! Immediately Dr. Shaheeds office began saving my foot with the correct medication , treatments and proper care for my foot. A few weeks went pass and I started seeing my foot finally start to heal up. I personally would like to thank the office staff Dr. Shaheed and Dr. Curry for a remarkable visit and the correct information for my healing process to begin. My foot is 100 percent better! Afer arriving an hour early for an scheduled appointment, the doctor refused to treat a 82 year old dementia patient, because the patient did not have a photo ID. The doctor and staff lied and said Medicare required a photo ID. I know this is a lie, because the patient is already being treated by a neurologist, internal medicine and opthamologist without presenting an ID. The patient is already registered in the Dekalb Medical Health system as a result of the other doctors who accepted the Medicare and supplemental insurance cards presented without a photo ID for the 82 year old patient. The doctors own letter states do not forget your picture ID. It does not state a patient will be refused treatment without a picture ID. I told the staff on the phone, just as I have told all of my mother's doctors. The 82 year dementia patient does not have a picture ID. This is a shabby very unprofessional way to treat an elderly medicare patient who is in poor health and has difficulty walking. To prove my point and the fact that GOD does not love ugly, I found another podiatrists with the Dekalb Medical system after I left Dr. Shaheed's office and I explained how poorly my mother had been treated. The doctor worked my mother into her schedule the same day and treated my mother's feet without benefit of a photo ID, just like every other doctor my mother seeing. I consider Dr Shaheed and staff's unprofessional treatment of my mother appalling!

It took 3 mos to get another appt with this clinic after I decided to go because Foot and Ankle can call you, but you CANNOT call them! I have tried to reach them by online message as well to no avail.

My experience with Dr. Shaheed and staff was so refreshing. His knowledge and bedside manner coupled with the staffs' customer service was the best I have experienced in Atlanta. They make you feel like more than a patient. I will continue to receive care and refer all my friends to this practice.
