I checked out Sharona after my eye exam in the same building. Yes, the selection was great and the service was fine, but the bottom-line price for relatively simple no-line bifocals was $750.00 -- and that included a discount!! I went directly to Costco afterward, and while their selection & service were less spectacular, it only set me back $180, and I can see just as well.

Very poor quality doctors and staff! I was left waiting for literally over an hour in a jam packed waiting room before I was seen, meanwhile I saw the doctor flirting with staff instead of seeing his patients. Then I was charged at the end for my copay AND a "refraction" fee. I had to argue with the staff until they finally agreed flippantly to "just bill me" the fee. I checked with my insurance and they said there is no such fee I was supposed to pay and the office should've known that. I wonder how many people they fleece in a day?

I have had two experiences with Sharona and neither left me with a scrap of goodwill. Both of these times involved contact lenses. The staff was curt and cold. I suspected it was because they didn't make the $$$ they make on frames. Never again!

I just got new glasses at Sharona Optical. I found the frames for both my regular glasses and sunglasses. I was able to put my prescription in some Ray Ban sunglass frames, not just a regular old frame, but an actual sunglass pair. I was so happy.

I have been trying to get no line bifocals that I can see out of for over a month. I started out at one of the big chains and although they were very nice, I just couldn't see. I finally returned them and found myself at Sharona Optical. The optician was very helpful and spent a lot of time finding out of my job and hobbies and matched me with a wonderful pair of no line bifocals. Not to mention that they had a special pair that work just for my computer screen and reading too. I now have two great pairs of glasses! No more headaches and neck cramps. Go check this place out!

I highly recommend Sharona Optical. They are very professional and have a great selection of frames. I also like how they have multiple locations around town. I found them through my doctor, Dr. Girardin. He is Great! Sharona is inside of Horizon Eye Specialist and between the medical practice and their great optical it was a wonderful experience.
