We bought our home 10 years ago in Bentwater. What a mistake. First, it was like a sauna in the summer and an ice box in the winter on the 2nd floor. Found that some of the attic didn't have insulation AT ALL! Second, you can feel the wind blow under all of the windows. Third, we're going to have to do a full master bath remodel because of crappy tile work in the shower and leaks we didn't know existed! I'm SO disappointed in this house I just want to move...unfortunately we have to put a ton of money into it before we could even consider selling it!!!

Initially I had posted a list of complaints that we seemed to be getting no where with the builder or the Project Manager. Couple that with confusion due to switching the PM on us midway through the process and our frustration level had reached a boiling point. However Sharp was very receptive, sent the right decision maker to our house during our 90 day walk through, and agreed to address everyone of our concerns. We could not be happier with their willingness to address issues that were occurring with our landscaping as well as prior promises with the old PM they agreed to uphold. The key to success with Sharp I believe is keeping very good records, however would suspect that's no different than any other builder. What was also very useful was having an effective real estate agent who "finished the drill" and made sure we were satisfied even through the 90 day walk through. All in all we are very happy and I am hopeful now that Sharp follows through on all the corrective work they committed to.

within a year many tiles in the kitchen cracked, this is a new construction. The builder promised to replace with the same color tiles but installed different color that does not match the rest of the tiles around it.Now my new kitchen floor looks like a chess board. The builder ignoring me and does not want to fix it properly.Very bad customer service, will not recommend this builder.

Buyer beware! We will not be buying from them again. We had to pull teeth and seek additional counsel to get a straight answer from the unprofessional sales associate on things we considered basic material disclosures. Finishing manager came back to make undesirable adjustments to our landscape after closing, without authorization or notification, and left the job apparently unfinished. In our opinion, very high HOA fees with inadequate comparable service. Sales contract on our new spec was very seller oriented with little to no support or negotiation room.

If you are planning on building a Sharp home, don't. If you still think you want to buy please READ before making the commitment. This could save you time, money and frustration. This builder works on deceptive practices. The company gets you in the door, and they start ringing

We moved into our house this past Spring and we were very pleased that everything went as planned. We had a few minor issues/repairs after moving in and Sharp did take care of any problems fairly quickly. We enjoy our neighbors at Vickery Crest and have great social activities/parties for families! The location cannot be beat and the schools have an excellent reputation. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase and we would do it again.

I recently assisted clients who were relocating from another country. They immediately fell in love with this builder and his community. Thanks to the entire team for helping my clients realize their American dream.

Sharp is a great builder with a wonderful staff of employees starting with the Sales Representatives to the workers who build the home and came back for follow up work.
I am a Realtor, and brought clients that had been looking for a long time...we stopped, and they bought. They hadn't even considered buying new before! Their home is beautiful and are enjoying it immensely.
We built a new house with Sharp. We went by the house, and I noticed you were replacing the tile backsplash in the kitchen because of quality issues. It's reassuring to have a builder proactively review his work and decide on their own to correct a problem without us bringing it to their attention. Actions such as these gives us the confidence to know that we invested with the right builder. They exceeded our expectations and made the building process seamless.
After you sign contract their tone will change to RUDE. Sharp does not like to address issues that they should fix. They will make excuses and also blame you for them. My backyard had poor drainage and one of Sharps's employees actually blamed my neighbor for it instead of fixing the problem.

I live in River Falls, which is now close to 10 years old. However, the issues we are experiencing are not from age - they are from the builder mistakes. Almost everyone I have talked to in the neighborhood has had to replace a faulty shower pan, which caused major damage in some homes. We fixed that ourselves only to find other issues! In a one-foot section of pipe from a bathroom, there were 4 holes where Sharp had screwed cabinets and shelving straight into the pipe. It caused damage in our basement and we now have 4 patches of sheetrock to fix and paint. There are several walls that are not straight at all - it's obvious they didn't bother to put the wall in the way it's supposed to go. We love the plan and our neighbors, but the quality of construction is ridiculously horrible.

We have been very satisfied with our Sharp Home buying experience. We bought our first Sharp Home as a resale in the Laurel Brooke Subdivision 9 years ago and loved our home. The homes in Laurel Brooke were situated on beautiful lots and we had no problem reselling our home. Our first Sharp home was built on a slab and needed more room for our growing family. We ended up moving out of the area and there were unfortunately no Sharp Neighborhoods in that area. When we had the opportunity to move to Milton last summer we were extremely excited to see two Sharp Neighborhoods in our exact target location. We worked with Michael Barsky during the sales process and he was very helpful, knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. We made several changes to our plans during the building process and the entire Sharp team was helpful and accomodating. We love our new home and after 5 homes, we plan to be in this home forever! We have a beautiful home and by far the best value we found in the Milton area.

We built our second home with Sharp after considering in excess of 150 market homes in Alpharetta and Roswell. Sharp builds a high quality home with excellent features & options at a very reasonable price. Their semi-custom build process is well-defined and customer-oriented. At the time, we were able to build our new home at a price comparable to many 20-year old homes in the area. Like others in this forum, we retained independent inspection services, and our inspector was so impressed with the "beyond code" level of construction quality, that he vowed to retain Sharp for his own next home. After a year in the home - we have had nothing but excellent service from Michael Barsky, Michael Thomas and Brad Evatt (our sales/build/service team). We would absolutely do it again - and continue to recommend Sharp to our friends and coworkers.
