I scheduled the keratin treatment and I am very pleased with the end results. There were no fumes and chemicals that I heard so many other salons have when receiving this treatment. Rosalynn was awesome! I will definately schedule another appointment when it is time for a re-touch... in about 8 weeks. Thanks Rosalynn. Will tell others at work and socially about this service

We are sorry you had a bad experience. You paid $39 for a full color, shampoo, conditioner, trim, blowout & style, which was a $125 (VALUE). I understand that you are upset because the stylist was told by mistake that you were getting a keratin glazing and not color. You are now saying that the salon was unprofessional because she didn't bring color when she was not told you needed color. You didn't mention that she went out of her way and left to go get color from a professional store which was more than a 1 1/2 hours away (one way) from where you were. When she realized that it would take too long to get there, she decided to go elsewhere closer to accomodate you to give you your color treatment you insisted on receiving. You were given an option to reschedule another day once it was discovered that she did not bring color, but you chose to keep the appointment and agreed that she would go get the color. Once she returned, it only took her less than 2hr to color, shampoo, condition, trim , blow dry, & style your hair. You told the stylist that you were happy with the finished product.(QUALITY) Again, we are sorry that you can not find it in your heart to forgive us for an oversight of not relaying to the stylist that you wanted color. We have apologized to you three times. Again, we are glad to know that you happy with the (SERVICE), especially the full color coverage, you received.
I just love the way my little girl's hair looks and I know that I will save a lot of time doing her hair. It looks so silky soft, just like Indian Remi hair. My daugher even told me that her hair is so soft and pretty she no longer wants to take a nap but to play in it. Rosalynn from Shear Genius was kind, patient, and did a FAB job. We'll be seeing her every 8 weeks from now on.

I received the blow out and keratin glazing treatment. It was a pleasure to not have my head on fire from the hot hot heat most other dominican salon administers. My hair was silky and soft and this was achieved without the 5500 watt dryers the other salon typically use. I was fortune to receive a coupon for $29... and received, a shampoo, deep conditioner, trim & color. Can you believe it! Ladies, ladies, ladies - sign up with them on their website and they will send you coupons each month. It is worth it and your hair feels and last wonderfully.

This past Monday was my first time getting a Kertain Treatment; and Shear Genius did a wonderful job. I will never go back to getting a relaxer again. I have already schedule three more appointments with them. They are very knowledgeable about making your hair healthy. I highly recommend anyone who is use to going to a Dominican Salon to use Shear Genius because they are convenient and knowledgeable about all types of hair.

Scheduled an appointment for my daughter & myself. I have relaxed hair and she has natural hair. This is the best dominican salon I have been to in a long time. They use great products. The Honey & Olive Oil Smoothie deep conditioner is "AWESOME". It is a little extra, but is so worth it. It has keratin in it that stays in your hair for up to 6 washes. You can really tell the difference in your hair. After several shampoos, it still leaves your hair with shine. I don't know what's in this conditioner, but I bought a bottle from this salon and will only use it when I give myself & my daughter a deep conditioner once a week. It leaves the hair soooo soft and it really smells great! I've visited the other two dominican salons in Snellville, and frankly, they are rude. They use extremely hot heat, burn your scalp and make you feel like you are a fool for pointing this out. Thanks Kudzu for helping me find this salon. Melonie *ps - I read the other comment about tipping, and I agree. I AM A GREAT TIPPER TOO. LOL!!

I just want to say that I had a great experience at this salon. I have natural hair and my hair turned out great. I wrapped it every night and it actually stayed straight for about 5 days until it rained. :( I plan to bring my daughter in every other Sunday as it is Kids Day. Kudos!!!!!!

Ladies, Ladies, Ladies... If you want the best hair products used on your hair, please get your hair shampooed at this hair salon. The dominican pearl & honey shampoo & silicon mix conditioner combo is awesome! Four days later, and my hair still feels soft and fluffy. All I do is simply wrap my hair at night. I have been bragging to co-workers about how soft my hair is every since my visit at the salon...and I let people at work feel my hair all the time. I have visited many dominican salons, and my hair has never felt this great. It kinda makes me wonder if the other dominican salons refill their containers with cheaper products. Also, ladies, don't forget to tip your stylist... especially if you get a blow out... that is so much extra work. I saw a lady with hair down her back get the blowout and didn't even tip her stylist. Shame on her. I am afraid, if we don't tip the stylist, the dominican blowout price will go up. Remember that ladies, it is so much extra work. I tip my stylist well because I don't want the prices to go up. Well that's it for contributing my two cents worth. Jaleesa Cofield
