Great sushi! Delicious Hibachi! I love coming here when I get the chance the food here always hits the spot. I try my best to recommend them to any one I can because I think they are just that great! My fave is the hibachi. I get the shrimp and lobster. To die for!!!! I think I might go there this weekend for dinner. Nom Nom Nom :)

I have been eating at Shogun for years. They are consistently very good - both Hibachi and sushi. Though not "authentic" Japanese food, it truly is wonderful. They have the BEST ginger salad dressing and some great maki. Compared with some of the popular sushi restaurants downtown, they are wonderful and priced better. I would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I have tried the sushi at several area restaurants, but we always come back to Shogun. I highly recommend the crunch roll and alaska roll. A little pricey, but delicious. We usually just do take-out, but when we dine in the service is good and the staff is always friendly. Update (11/5/08) - I had to downgrade my ratings for Shogun. I don't know if ownership changed or maybe just the sushi chef, but my wife and I weren't impressed with our last take-out order. The crunch roll especially just isn't as good as it used to be.

I had a wonderful experience. The waitresses were great. They were prompt with getting our drinks, refilling our glasses, etc. Our cook was lively and very entertaining. The food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. The prices were typical of Japanese cuisine, which is a little on the pricey side. Overall, I was impressed.

We tend to be a bit picky about our "Japanese" food and this is not authentic Japanese cuisine. If you are going for the teppanyaki experience, you might enjoy it, but there are better places to eat sushi.

Stopped in for lunch. Great menu and quick service. Atmosphere very plesant. Reasonable prices and good food. Hibachi seating optional and can get same food at a normal table. Good for a qucik in/out during a lunch hour.
