They ARE very good and knowledgeable, 3/11/2013

I bought a Remmington 1911 45ACP and was very satisfied with the service. The grumblings that you are getting here is from people who can't stand to have to wait. I do understand that but the real... problem is staffing. They only have about one third of the staff that they should have, especially on Saturdays. Everyone that I have spoken to knows what they are talking about and patient with me and they take their time to be sure that I am completely satisfied with the service and that I understand the answers to the questions. That works out to long lines. But the wait is worth it.

Worst Customer Service! Read All Reviws in Jax!, 1/10/2012

I ordered 4 CR123A batteries from “Shootersonline” Ebay Store on December 22, 2011. I ordered the batteries, stated in my order what I was told about prompt shipping, and paid instantly. ... Although it was Thursday, just two days before Christmas, and I’m located just 55 miles west of Jacksonville, I figured I might have the order by Friday, or surely by Saturday…in time for Christmas. The USPS system “showed” a number, but no actual receipt or movement within the system. Nothing showed up in time for Christmas. I sent “Shootersonline” a message within the Ebay messaging system, and received a reply stating they had no control of the USPS postal system. Based on that, I figured Shooters probably did the paperwork for the order, and may or may not have placed the order physically with the post office. I waited all the way until SATURDAY the 31st, and still had not received this order. Although I was told by Shooters that it got shipped on the 22nd??!! I called Shooters Saturday the 31st, after my mail had run, with no shipment still. They finally "re-shipped" the order, and I received it 15 DAYS after I ordered! Now, does anyone see why I’m not happy with this company? Therefore, I am rating Shooters ONE STAR, and would rate less than that if the system allowed it.

Bad customer service...

I have bought several guns from them. However, you will find out how good a store is by their policies. Their phone message says, "We don't give prices over the phone, but we do guarantee the best price in the country" I called about a KelTek PMR-30. This gun has been hard to get, as the factory cannot keep up with demand. It has been this way for months now. KelTek suggested retail is $415.00. When I called Shooter's today they told me they had one in stock. I asked the price. The sales person said $800.00. I informed him I had purchased several weapons there, and would like a fair price. He told me $800.00. I called back and asked for the store manager. A guy named Mike came on the line. I explained that I was not calling to complain about anything, I just had a question about the store policy about “we do guarantee the best price in the country.” and the fact that his clerk told me $800 for the PMR-30. He said that it was him that quoted the price. I told him that KelTec MSRP was $415.00 and that Tombstone Tactical had it advertised for $345.00 plus $25.00 shipping. His reply to me was, “ I can get $800 for it, and that is what I'm going to do.” So much for their “we do guarantee the best price in the country” statement on the phone. I will go first to Tombstone Tactical from now on. The have the lowest price and the nicest representatives on the phone. So much for trying to do business locally...
