I purchased a set of custom fit KZG irons from Emery just over 2 years ago. I was thrilled with the fitting process and I absolutely love these clubs. I recently went back to Shortgrass and had Emery re-grip the entire set plus my woods and putter and I purchased a new KZG Gemini driver. Just as when I bought the irons the service and attention were the best. I would reccomend Emery and his company Shortgrass to any golfer who cares about his or her game. By the way I live in Athens Georgia which is almost a 100 mile drive. It is worth every mile to get clubs made by this guy. Feel free to email me if you have questions.

I don't call myself "wayback" for nothing. I am a short-knocking duffer who needs all the help I can get. Emery Legrand (cool name, eh?) recommended KZG OC-x1 irons for me, flexed the shafts for my mediocre clubhead speed, outfitted them with larger grips for my mildly arthritic hands and charged me way less than half--I'm not exaggerating--the price of, say, a set of Pings or Taylormades. My clubs are beautiful, forgiving and, more and more, the love of my golfing life. Every duffer oughta have a set. Of course, KZG makes models for better players, too. And, I promise, whatever you buy from Emery, when he finishes customizing them for you, you'll wish you had met him long ago. He works out of the Heritage Hills Driving Range in Austell, GA.

You won't regret your visit to Shortgrass. Mr. LeGrand knows what he's talking about! Whether golf instruction or club fitting, Shortgrass has it all. A little off the beaten path in the Austell suburb of Atlanta, but it is definitely worth the trip! Do yourself a favor - check them out!
