I called Siggers Hairdressers on May 26, 2015, explaining that I have waist-length hair and needed an everyday type style, as I understood that not all hairstylists are proficient in styling very long hair. The young lady assured me that she had scheduled me with someone who could perform this service and even said the particular hairdresser was one of the most proficient in the salon.I arrived at the salon and was shown to a station. The hairdresser asked me what I wanted to do today and I explained that I'd like for her to give me a casual everyday hairstyle, as I wear my hair in a bun and was hoping to find an alternative. She asked me if I wanted my hair colored and I explained my hair had been colored this week. She disappeared and didn't return. Voila!

Shannon always does a great job coloring and cutting my fine hair. Most hair dressers want to add lots of layers, but my hair is so fine that the more you remove, the thinner it looks. Every time I leave Siggers, my hair looks amazing and the style is easy to up keep. (I'm a quick blow dry and go kind of gal). I love this salon!

A very relaxer and pleasant experience. Everyone in the salon is extremely friendly and professional. John gives a perfect haircut that has to look good even if you wash and dry without a hair dryer. john has been cutting my hair for 20 years and I hope for the next 20 years When it comes to color, Helen is best for me. She absolutely knows hair colors and she is a great Lady. I live 50km away and drive doesn't bother me to be happy with my hair, iT IS WORTH IT. I highly recommend Siggers Hairdressers.

I have been going to Siggers for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. My personal hairstylist, Kristin Woodall, is amazing. I will never let anybody else touch my hair! I have dark brown hair and get it highlighted monthly, she is a perfectionist when it comes to foils! Her technique is fabulous, I have never been so impressed with a hairdresser. Not only does it always come out great, it is soooo healthy. She is able to bring my hair from dark, dark brown to blond without damaging it at all. I have changed my color so many times, I'm not sure how she has managed to keep it in such good shape! Kristin has the ability to give you exactly what you want. Despite their best efforts to avoid specializing in only certain styles (i.e. natural, edgy, etc.), most stylist tend to prefer a certain look. NOT Kristin- She LOVES all different styles and has a way of visualizing what it is that you want, and giving you exactly that. She will spend the time to make sure her client is happy. Kristin is the BEST at what she does!

what a filthy mess this place was....the floor, the dryer stations, the washing stations, everything - filthy. I was there for 3 hours today (to get an 'okay' but severely overprice color and cut. Foils and cut hair remained on the floor in 2 different rooms the entire duration of my stay. Things need to be seriously wiped down. Also, dirty towells or rags or smocks lay everywhere. This place is way to expensive to have average-to-novice level work, late 80's/early 90's decor and technology, and (most of all) such filth

I recently had my third appointment with Amy. I have each time received the best color of my entire life! She colors my very grey hair to a very natural looking blonde. The hair color is done in a way that I am able to maintain it for about 6 weeks before I need a repeat! I have been to Van Michaels and Salon 124 and neither stylist there was able to give me such a lasting color. I always love the cut, too! I don't mind that someone else shampoos me or even blows the style out (although this only happened on my second visit) because I know that Amy's real value is in the cut and color. I don't feel that the price is any higher than any other high end salon in Atlanta. If you are truly looking for an upscale experience and for a colorist that is without equal, make an appointment at Siggers and ask for Amy. I won't go anywhere else!

I agree with the other reviews that the salon is simply way overpriced and charging extra to not leave the salon with dripping wet hair is ridiculous. If I'm paying $200+ for my cut and color, yes, I expect basic styling and blow drying to be included. I've seen Gavin several times and he is terrific - great personality and he always does an excellent job with my color and cut. But I hate how there's always fifteen different people involved, someone to wash your hair, then someone else to do your styling, etc. And half the time they never speak to you and act like they just want to get it over with. I don't mind paying for a great haircut, but I can get just as high quality a cut elsewhere in town for less money and better service without feeling nickled and dimed.

I have been to Siggers 3 times. First time color was too light, cut was OK, style bad, second time color was great, cut was OK, style bad, last time, cut and style WERE AWFUL AND I PAID $88. When I got home, I realized one side of my hair is a full inch longer than the other. I will not be going back. When I pay for top-notch service, that is what I expect. I thought this place was the best in Atlanta. Nope. I am very disappointed. BTW, if you do want to go here, don't use the ATM inside as you will be charged about $24 in service fees.

I went to this salon and requested Carol (the owner) at the suggestion of my sister-in-law who has been going there for years. I asked for highlights and a new style. My hair was completely bleached white, I then sat for 1.5 hours waiting for Carol to cut my hair, which she did without ever speaking to me. Then someone else dried my hair. The style was horrible the color was horrible the service was horrible and then they charged me close to $300. When I complained Carol told me I was wrong. I would have done better at Great Clips!!! And the whole time they all told me about they trips to Paris for training. What a waste!

I have to agree with some of the previous comments about high turnover of stylists and the absurd policy of charging extra to dry your hair (and I know the "bored woman" they refer to--been there, done that. Twice.); however if you get the right stylist you will get a good cut and color. Before I found Adrienne--she's great--I had a couple of very expensive bad cuts at the hands of other stylists.
