I met Eryn Hubbard yesterday and today I'm leaving with a Honda Fit from Sims Honda in Mount Vernon, WA! Great experience - Eryn is knowledgeable and excited about the Honda products - he listens... well to needs and wishes, as well as being a very personable young man. Super place to get a new car!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
My boyfriend and I went to Sims Honda looking for a vehicle we thought would be hard to find due to our budget. We met a salesperson by the name of Eryn Hubbard, he was very funny and made use feel... very at home. As he should us around we could tell he really wanted to help us and listened very well. Eryn showed us an Explorer that we thought was out of our price range, but with a little help, Sims Honda discounted the vehicle to fit our budget. We recommend Sims Honda when looking for a used vehicle. Don't forget to ask for Eryn Hubbard when you arrive!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

We have enjoyed Honda vehicles for about 30 years. However, my recent experience with Sims Honda left me baffled, shocked actually. After a careless driver rear-ended my beautiful Accura & it was totaled, I decided to lease a Civic. Unfortunately I have a foreclosure on my credit report--buying that condo was the ONLY one mistake I've made in managing my finances. Have ALWAYS paid all my bills in full & on time. What shocked me was when my son [a VP at Hewlett Packard with a great credit history] applied to co-sign, Sims Honda still denied the lease! The lease was for a measly $200/month for 36 months! I have a great job & making the payments would NOT have an issue at all! Sims wanted proof that I no longer owned the foreclosed property in Florida. Apparently it was not enough proof that here we are in WA for the past year, thousands of miles away from FL. This experience has definitely left a VERY sour taste for Honda. I wonder how Sims earned the President Award for customer service so many times. Is this the best Honda can offer nationwide ?

I was first introduced to the folks at Sims in 1999. I bought a used Geo Metro, and felt I was treated fairly and got a good deal.\r\rI wasn't sure about buying a used 1996 Geo at a Honda store, but they impressed upon me that they only keep the good stuff, and they sell the cars that don't measure up to other dealers to sell...think about that one!\r\rThe Geo was in great shape and it served my needs at the time. In 2000 I found a nice 1993 Honda Accord there that I bought for my father. October 2010, and he is still driving it!!\r\rThis is a top-flite dealership that goes the extra mile to make sure customers are treated fairly. I am a bit taken aback by some of the reviews I have seen here because I know these folks are willing to listen, and make sure folks are treated right.\r\rThe Founder, Vern Sims, is at the dealership all the time and always has a friendly smile for me whenever I visit. \r\rGive them a try!!

I definatly didn't expect the kind of service and hospitality that I got when I purchased my car from Sims Honda. I was looking for a commuter type of car. After not having a lot of luck at other places I decided to go into Sims to see what they could offer me. \rI didn't expect the experiance that I had and has made me a life time customer to Sims Honda. I drove around looking for the type of car I was looking to buy. After finding the car (a sweet 92 Accord) I stopped and looked around it. I was approached by a sales guy that blew me away. His name is Mark Sumner. He did a wonderful job with listening to what I wanted and was very courtious to me. He showed my around the car and offered a test drive. When we got done with the test drive he walked me around the dealership and showed me the service department, keep in mind this was the first time anyone has done this, he seemed very proud of the dealership! Now the hard part.......the negotiating process, IT WAS SO EASY! I told him what I had for money and he went back to the office, came back out after about 5 minutes and shook my hand. The cool part about this is Mr. Sims came by and said hello.....the owner of Sims Honda! Wow blew me away!\rI have since purchased one more used car from Sims and will continue to be a customer to Mr. Sims, Mark Sumner and Sims Honda!

Recently my brother and I purchased a used Explorer from Sims Honda in Burlington, WA. I remember when we left the house talking about not wanting to get screwed with by the typical salesperson. When we arrived we were very suprised to be greeted very well. None of the typical tactics, the salesperson was very helpful and gave us a screaming deal. I am glad we went to Sims Honda first, I am sure it saved us a ton of head aches! I recommened Sims Honda to anyone who is looking for a fare straight deal when buying a new or used vehicle.

I went to the nearby Everett dealer and was appalled at the low level of service. Basically a ""get it done now"" approach..reminded me of every horror story you have heard about shopping at car dealerships.\r\rWhen I walked into Sims it was like a completely different experience. It was an untypical car shopping experience where everyone was sincerely there to help...\r\rI did not feel like there was any pressure. I told them I was looking and they let me be until I had questions. I have told all my family and friends about Sims and it is where i will be buying my vehicles from here on out.\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r

I have bought 2 cars and done service there for many years. Recently I helped a family member buy a new Accord and was really happy how they were treated. \r\rI will not do business anywhere else.

Wow, what a joke.\r\rThe ""internet manager,"" whose spelling was so poor that I was embarassed for him, wanted a credit card number to give me a quote, argued with me about having financing in place with my credit union, then told me that I he wouldn't do business with me because I acted as if I was ""ordering a pizza.""\r\rBe very careful, this dealership seems incredibly shady.

I've bought 5 cars from Sims Honda first one in 1985 in the old part of town. Lance had a great team in the Service Department. The past week I had trouble with the Service Manager with rude behavior. Rude behavior with my son as well when he took his car in. The 2 original people in Service are really what Sims Honda use to be. Very disappointed now with the manager. A person can do better elsewhere.

Oh, what a nightmare. I called Sims about an Accord I had seen listed in their ad. I asked the salesperson several questions. He answered after putting me on hold 3 times to ""go check."" These were basic questions like ""How many speakers in the car,"" and ""Does the rear set fold down?"" When I went in to make an offer on the auto, I discovered that many of the answers he had given me were inaccurate. But I pressed on. When I sat down to negotiate a price, I was presented with a Privacy form and told I had to sign it and indicate that the dealership could use my personal information without restriction. They told me if I did not sign it, they would not sell me the car. So I walked out. I'm not sure what kind of scam they're trying to pull, but be VERY CAREFUL with this dealership.\r\rThey don't know about the cars they are selling and they're way too interested in your personal information.

i just went in to test drive!! i love the car. john and kurt talked me into it!!! i'm glad. i just love the car. i have driven john and kurt crazy with my calls. it didn't come with an owner's manuel so i had lots of questions......very nice guys. all the way to the top. i thought when i left the lot.....too bad. but that wasn't the case. 3 months later, i call and they are wonderful. the reason i put vehicle selection as highly recommended is they had fewer than 3 in the state (automatic trans). when one came in ......john called me at work!!.......nice service, huh??

Sims Honda has a HUGE selection of cars on the lot. In fact, I've heard that other dealers shop for cars from this lot. Honda really likes them, and s...
