Six Feet Under midtown can pretty much run on it's view. It's been a little obstructed because of new apartment development but still very nice roof top atmosphere. Food isn't so good, smaller portions and high prices are creeping in and beer prices are the most expensive around. Hostess and servers are less than friendly and usually very slow, unless you sit downstairs. Reservations recommended to bypass hostess fumbling what can sometimes be a long wait. It's a great place to go if you have lots of time and not worried about customer service. A beer and appetizer on the roof is a great way to relax.

Unfortunately the food and service are sub par, at least the two times I've been there. The first time I went for lunch on a workday. Service was super slow. It took over 40 mins to get our entrees which were all sandwiches. My fish was way overcooked and the bun was soggy as can be. The fries were decent. They do have a really nice rooftop bar with a nice view. Parking is by valet or on the street.

The patio view of the Atlanta skyline is fantastic and makes up for the above-average food. Don't get me wrong, the food was good. But I wasn't blown away. Still, the price was fair for a sit down dinner. If you're in the mood for some seafood on a cool evening, I'd highly suggest dining upstairs at Six Feet Under.

Everyone seems to rave about Six Feet Under, but I am not a fan. I ordered the crab cake (because I love it). But, I am also extremely picky about this particular dish. SFU did not pass. It was a terrible mix of (some) crab and other random stuff. The consistency was poor. And the entire place smelled like rotten fish. The environment's cool; just didn't like the food. I might try something else though there.

Because of the amazing view you get from the roof top deck, I would definitely recommend this location for a "first date" or meeting a few friends for good beer and good food. Ive been to the original location on memorial drive, but this one to me was more fun.

The atmosphere, food, and service here is excellent! Great seafood and appetizers! I wish I could suggest one thing, but really everything on the menu is great!

Good food, the view from the deck is great. The servers there are very nice. The one real negative thing is there rules on roof seating. All parties must be present before you can be seated. This policy doesn't work well for the happy hour crowed, most people trickle in as they get off work. So you aren't allowed to sit down until everyone in your party get off work. The gate keeper (hostess) isn't too friendly about it either. After a long week at work the last thing I want is to be told I CAN'T sit down. I just think that Six Feet Under needs to work on there customer service.

This place is one block over from the Atlanta Humane Society, easy to find. The service was great, very friendly. The food is good, and you can smell how appetizing it is when you approach the building; Yum!
