Tender, juicy BBQ- some of the best I've had! All the different meats are lean but still juicy. The veggies, mac n cheese, the cobblers, banana pudding (I could go on and on!)- AWESOME! Then they bring out the in-house-made, melt-in-your-mouth cheddar cheese biscuits on Friday and Saturday nights only! OMG!!! These UNADVERTISED goodies are a bit crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside- AMAZING! Be sure to get there early to get your share. The owner only makes so much and when they're gone, they're gone! Everything is fresh and made from scratch, including his varieties of sauces- very tasty also! I come all the way from Buckhead and it's definitely worth the trip!!!

OK, as Cheap Clark, I must admit this place is not cheap, but it is a good value. As good or better pricing than any sit down restaurant in the area. However the food is high quality and prepared to order (except of course the smoked pork and chicken that is smoked for umpteen hours in the huge on-site cedar smoker). The hand pulled port and chicken is very lean as the owner takes pride in a "no-grissle" and "no-fat" policy in the select cuts they smoke and prepare. (If you prefer more greasy pork or enjoy finding an nice piece of grizzle or fat in your sandwich, you will have to go somewhere else). The "Secret" special: is the FREE "to-die-for" cheese biscuits that the owner personally cooks and distributes on most Friday and Saturday nights. Using his secret cheese dough recipe his delivers biscuits hot from the oven to the customers in the dining rooms. Sometimes you time it just right so you get to eat your biscuit during the few minutes before your food arrives. It's like getting dessert first. Speaking of dessert they have a variety of great fresh cobblers (I highly recommend the cherry *but the peach and blackberry are always good too).
