Couple days after purchase, battery was dead, wouldn't crank a car. Reached out to person that sold it, no response, no call back no text back, nothing. It's OK, I can buy another battery, but this is completely unprofessional. Why would you lie to somebody saying it's only year old and then avoid the responsibility over what a $100 battery. Pathetic

Do NOT buy anything from this dealership. I purchased a Jeep two weeks ago - after having to repair the brakes right away, the check engine light came on. Palmer Jeep said. "Someone" sold me a vehicle with a known cracked cylinder head which requires the engine be replaced. I called Smart Cars and the owner wouldn't talk to me and the salesman said he feels bad but that's it. Warning- bring an educated Jeep mechanic with you to thoroughly review what you're buying.

We were completely satisfied with our experience at this dealership. The people were friendly and honest, followed through on every commitment and the price we paid for our car was very fair. There were a couple of items that needed work when we bought the car - in both cases the repair became more challenging than originally expected; however, the dealership followed through with the work anyway and even filled the gas tank when the work was completed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and we will certainly shop here again in the future.

Called ahead to check if advertised car was still available. Saleman confimed "yes still here". Told salesman I would be there in a couple of hours, had to drive 50 miles to get there. "Sure, see you when you get here, it should take you about 45 mins". Drove there, same salesman tells me that the car was sold. "Sold" I said, "But I just caleedyou 2 hours ago and you said it was available, and I told you I had to drive a long way to get here". "I bet it was sold before today". "Yes it was" he stated. Waited my time and money! Never Again.

Smart Cars Inc never filed state required paperwork on car I traded in. I rec'd a fine from State for lapse of insurance (why would I insure car traded in to them & sitting on their lot & their website with a for sale sign on it?!) The vehicle I purchased had blown gaskets, among a number of other things. They allowed me to buy back my original vehicle, but this cost me nearly 4k...on top of towing fees, rental car fees, missed days from work, fines, lost/stolen title fees (since they maintained physical possession, but never filed any paperwork) Smart Cars Inc has cost me time, money, time, money, time, money & created a lot of stress. Buy from this used car dealer? I urge you to take the car to a mechanic first, get everything in writing(as they lied to me quite a bit) and make sure that if you are trading a vehicle in that they are taking care of their legal obligations. they may be in the wrong, but it is you who will pay. I believe they purposefully concealed blown gaskets on Subaru & purposefully did NOT transfer titles as req'd by State...all out of selfish greed. Don't trust these liars.
