In response: Snappy Electrical tried to scam me out of thousands telling me that I needed work I didn't need. I hired another company that did nothing Snappy Electric said I needed to do (the other company did the repairs and passed inspection all for less than a grand). I called my insurance company because Snappy first told me that I needed thousands in work (lies). After receiving their 6 thousand plus quote saying my wiring could not be repaired because of code, I opened an insurance claim. I asked $1500 be taken from the electrician, Eddie who lied to me about code and from Adam for not telling me what codes required me to do all the repairs on their quote and because my insurance premiums will go up because I opened a claim because they lied to me. Adam bends the truth and leaves out part of the story. Am I surprised he would say this. NO, not at all. I wrote the internet reviews before I requested the $1500. I do appreciate the $1500 given to Wounded Warriors. I do not appreciate Adam lying AGAIN.

As a company, we believe in 100% customer satisfaction and will do everything possible including offering a complete refund for which we did in this case. We returned a complete refund of $49.00; however this did not satisfy the customer.
While we dispute many of the assertions in the post, we still wanted to do what was right in the customers mind. We ask the customer what else could be done to resolve the issue and were told that if we paid him $1,500 that he would stop disparaging our company and employees on review sites and social media platforms. We did not feel it was right to conduct business in such a manner.
Through discussions with the customer, we learned he is a disabled veteran. We felt that offering a $1,500 donation to The Wounded Warrior Project in the customer's name would be a much better solution. We made the donation and hope the customer believes this good faith gesture we've made together will close this dispute while doing some good for his fellow veterans.
Eddie from Snappy Electric went above and beyond to ensure that my installation was installed per manufacturer specifications. The team handling the appointments was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend Snappy for high quality work!

Great Electrical Technical Service. Eddie D. responded to my service call to Snappy about some electrical issues. I thought a GFCI outlet needed replacing as I was not able to open my garage door and the lights in the garage would flicker on/off. Eddie D. explained the results of his diagnostics in simple, easy to understand language. The problem was more complex than I originally surmised. Eddie provided me with multiple choices for solutions along with ballpark cost estimates. He did not pressure me in picking a solution - which I greatly appreciated. After making my choice, I presumed it would be a week or so to get on a schedule, especially being a few days before Christmas. However, Eddie stated the problem could be fixed the same day and he immediately called another Snappy electrician, Zack to help resolve the issue that day. I'd like to thank both of them. Eddie was Super - he has great customer service skills; he was patient with and answered all my questions. He recognized an immediate need to get my electrical issues fixed and did so promptly. I feel much safer now. I feel the price was reasonable. I would definitely use Snappy again for any electrical issues, as well as plumbing issues.

Snappy will be my go to company for all future home repairs, etc. as it is 1 call get it all done. Excellent customer service from everyone.I had insulation for my attic installed by Snappy which was done by Benson & Clayton in 2 days. They took pictures to show me after all work complete. I am positive future Heat/AC bills will be lower. I also contracted for electric overhaul of my electric box & replacement smoke detectors. Eric the plumber installed hot water heater, etc. also repairing leaking toilet and loose kitchen faucet. My home is 16 years old; I have owned it for 2 yrs.

Where do I start. I just bought a home in the Dunwoody area and needed a technician to visit my home and determine why my hot water heater wasn't running correctly as well as resolve the issue promptly. Although we hadn't heard of Snappy as a home services company, my wife and I decided to give them a try so we scheduled an appointment. To my astonishment, the technician (Jon C) showed up within hours. He was patient with me while I tried to work with another technician, and thoroughly reviewed and then fixed my issue in less time than expected. Not only that, he actually went above and beyond with helping with some wiring issues I was having installed. Due to Jon's work as an exceptional professional, I am committed to Snappy as a long term customer. Ensure you use Snappy services for all your home needs including plumbing and electrical services. Thank you Jon!

thank you very much for the detailed report on our services! We are glad to hear we have earned your business and look forward to the opportunity to keep your business. We will pass along the kind words to Jon C, thanks again! ~Management~
I had a new ac put in by Snappy. They are my normal service company and I have a contract with them. They have always been reasonable and courteous to me. What I really liked recently though was that after my system got put in, they came back to do a quality check and adjusted things. The advisor John, came out again to make sure I was happy and sent me a nice thank you note. Its special to be appreciated for doing business with someone.

We appreciate the business as well as the review. John K works just as hard if not harder after the sale as he does before, his personal goal is 100% customer satisfaction. I will pass along the great review to John and we look forward to servicing your furnace in the coming weeks. ~Management~
My ac unit broke down last Fri night, I called several companies and only Snappy could come out that night. The tech John was very friendly and found our problem quickly. He gave us several options for repairs. He fixed the unit and got us back cooling that night. We signed up for their protection plan that included lifetime parts and labor on the work they did. Snappy saved what would have been a long hot night.

Great to hear, thanks for taking the time to post a review on our services! Great decision in getting the HPP, you will not regret it! ~Management~
Our furnace quit working a couple of weeks ago so we called another repair company referred by a co-worker. They were very pushy in stating replacing the unit was only options so we decided to get another opinion. I called Snappy which was highly recommended by someone in the neighborhood and was very delighted with their service! The serviceman John took his time looking over the system and provided me with 4 separate options ranging from repair to a couple different replacement options. One option included a home energy assessment which I chose to go with before doing anything with furnace.(ga weather allowed me time for due diligence :))The energy assessment blew me away and these guys are not only super professional they are really good. The audit produces a very thorough report with pictures and projected savings again with several options, but not pushy on anything. I felt really comfortable with these guys and because of rebates through GA Power decided to get a new heating system and insulation in my attic. These guys were great and I would recommend their services to everyone!!!

Thank you very much for the review as well as the business. We are glad to see you like the energy audit and even more excited you that you gave us the opportunity to reduce your energy bills with air sealing and insulation. We look forward to seeing you in the fall fro you heating pm, and then again next spring for your ac tune-up. At that time we would love to hear about your energy savings over the 12 month period! Thanks again-Management
Right up front, I did NOT have them do any work for me and they may be very good. The quality rating here was required and they might be 5 stars - I just don't know. What I do know is that I had them quote me for several items on a punch-list that I needed to have done. They are about double what is usually quoted for the things I wanted done. Example 1: Labor only to install a new toilet - Avg cost $110 - $140. Their quote $369. Example 2: Labor only to install a Tub Faucet - Avg cost $138 - $176. Their quote $350. These prices were on top of a $49 "service call" fee just to come out. Everything was at least double with Snappy. I ended up going elsewhere for less than half the price and quality work.

DavidLori- We appreciate you taking the time to allow us to price your project. We are glad to see you had the worked performed and saved some money. It is hard to compare your listed prices to ours as the list price for the toilet install included a new emergency shut-off valve and stainless steel supply line along with the wax ring and labor to install your toilet. As we discussed after the technician left to perform a toilet only install, we are closer to $250. By the prices you have listed above it looks more like you may have had a handyman contractor install vs. a licensed plumber. I would have doubts about a contractor that would come out to a home remove, install, haul-off, and warranty a toilet for only $110.00. Keep in mind we offer lifetime parts and labor warranties on all of our work vs. a standard 1 year warranty which many contactors offer. We also offer uniformed technicians who go through extensive criminal background searches as well as drug screening. We do not claim to be the low price provider, however we are also not the most expensive in our market. I can assure you had we performed the work there would have also been a 5 star rating on quality as well:) We do appreciate the opportunity at the job and hope it went well with the other contractor. ~Management~
Snappy Electric & Plumbing came to my house for maintenance service. The representative was very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating in helping me understand the system. He was remarkable and went above and beyond. It might be a bit expensive, but I like their service.

Mthurman30- Thanks for the business, "remarkable" is a very nice complement for your service tech. We are very happy to see our customer service went above and beyond as we work really hard building the culture and setting high standards in the customer service area of our company. Although we are not always perfect we strive for 100% customer satisfaction! Thanks again for the report as well as the business! ~Management~
I was very satisfied with Snappy Electric & Plumbing. They did the servicing for some of our older units. Everything was checked out, and whatever adjustments were necessary were made. Because these are old units, they explained what the future may hold, and provided us with an estimate for the repairs we may use in the future. They were very informative, polite, and neat, and I would gladly use them again.

I called Snappy Electric & Plumbing after we had a plumbing problem. They said that they would get their man out there once he finished the job he was working on. They got to us at night and they checked everything out and fixed it by 11. I was pleased that they were able to do that. We didn't have any toilets or showers and they were able to correct that. Matt the plumber did a superior job.

I hope we didn't interrupt your dinner being there so late! Glad we could get your plumbing back on line at such a late hour, I will pass the kudos along to Matt! ~Management~
Snappy Electric & Plumbing has always been dependable, which is why we've been using this company for a few years now. More recently our toilet tank was constantly refilling, and the piping needed to be upgraded. They sent someone over with a kit, and he was able to fix everything in fifteen minutes. He was very polite and thorough. Not only did he check the toilet that was running, but he also checked our water pressure and the toilet in our other bathroom to make sure that it was upgraded. I appreciated how he made sure to explain everything to us. Our experience with Snappy Electric & Plumbing has been awesome, and I would highly recommend them.

We were hosting a large party Saturday of Memorial Day weekend when our 30 year old downstairs AC decided to give up the ghost that morning. We called a few places and Snappy was the only company who could get a tech out to us. John was the tech and here in no time. He had bad news about our unit but explained the situation and our options. Very professional, beyond knowledgable and friendly. We decided to buy a new AC and John was kind enough to give us a freon charge to last us through the party. Rod came out yesterday and installed our new unit. He's a great young man whose customer service and work ethic was very impressive. Now we're sitting cool. We also signed up for the HPP. Snappy has our business and we will highly recommend them to anyone.
